We are testing a Silverlight application.

Test Studio is not able to record a typing test step against a specific textbox. When we try to locate this textbox element in the DOM tree, it turns out that Test Studio is not able to see it there. 

The only workaround here is to perform a blind mouse click and keyboard typing.
