Support Internet Explorer 11 for recording and playback
A number of changes in IE11 introduce several major problems using the browser for recording and playback with Test Studio.

I'm adding this feedback item to summarize the status of supporting IE11 in the latest product versions. Although it may work for you we will announce it as officially supported as soon as we get all the major problems resolved.

Latest Test Studio releases support recording and playback in IE 11.

Developers report one of the most common reason for automation failures with IE11 is the newly introduced navigation caching:

As described in the article there are a number of cases when pages are not cached. If any of those are applicable for your application under test IE11 may work just fine for you.

Test Studio 2013 R2 that is going to be live later today addressing one of the problems - handling frames in IE11 for recording and playback. The fix first made it in the internal build labeled 2013.1.1114.
