Loading a test project forces different elements that have the same identification expression to be merged into one element.This merged element name as well as the names of the elements built into it should be logged somehow. Otherwise there is no way for the tester to know and reference the merged elements.

The scenario where this is a problem is when several people work on the same TFS controlled project locally. This way one element can be saved with different names in the local test projects. However, in the source project those elements will be merged into a single one that only one of the testers would expect to know. In addition, if some tests use some of the "merged" elements into coded steps, those steps would not compile because the elements will no longer exist under the same names.
