Window.Close() does not timeout or throw an exception
If during the test the WPF application crashes, .Window.Close() will not be executed (which is expected behavior), however it will not timeout or throw an exception.

Hi Jonas,

Thanks for the follow up!

Unfortunately we should postpone resolving this issue as it will require significant effort and will be a risky change in the current communication in Test Studio execution. Actually this is related to the request about a watchdog also submitted here:

http://feedback.telerik.com/Project/117/Feedback/Details/40245-killing-the-scheduled-test-list-run-completely-if-it-is-inactive-for-a-long-perio

Please do not hesitate to vote in order to increase the change of getting that implemented in a future version of the product.

Thank you for the feedback!

Hello Konstantin,

I can't send the application where i encountered this error. But the problem can be recreated by using a WPF Application with one window, make the window crash by adding a button in the window (unhandled exception). now with test studio, try to close the Window with the WpfWindow.Window.Close() method.

Hello,

Please send a sample test case along with the application to run against. That will let us investigate the problem and at the end make sure we have a solution that will help you.

Thanks!
