Scheduled test says Pass when actually not run

When a scheduled test fails due to this error:

System.InvalidOperationException: The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine.

The test shows Passed in the execution server. It should show Failed or Not Run.

The actual status here is Not Run as the error itself prevents test studio from running the test list. Problem is that when test listss are concerned there is no "Not Run" status and test lists with status "Not Run" are marked as "Passed".
