New frame being added to Elements Explorer when one with identical properties already exists, but uses '^/' to substitute for the project BaseUrl
Getting a new frame (eg. FrameCtl00, FrameCtl000, FrameCtl001, etc) added to the Elements Explorer every time a new element under the same frame is recorded against. This only happens when we start a new instance of IE and the original frame's BaseUrl (frameinfo) was adjusted to account for a project baseurl with a caret '^/'.

Hello,

Thanks for the feedback!

We investigated the problem and realized we cannot implement the change requested about merging element frames without introducing a breaking change to existing customers. Basically if your code refers one similar frame after upgrade it can be merged to another element which will break your code. Therefor we will have to defer the requested change.

Regards!
