ability to lay out detail data in an accross then odwn format. i do a lot of reports with weights, sometimes 500 and i wuld like to list them accross then down not in a vertical list because sometimes there is ony 1 weight and sometimes many,. this keeps the printed report to a manageable size
I use to be able to change the size, location of a picture box at run-time. I cannot do this anymore in the newest version of telerik reporting. It would be good to be able to do this using expressions. As of now you can only change the value of a picture box.. But you cannot change the Size or location values... By allowing me to to this I would be able to make good looking custom graphs for my reports. As of now my only solution seems to stay on telerik reporting version 2010. Thanks for considering...
The ability to add these types of images to reports would be incredible. We deal with numerous companies in the manufacturing sector. These customers have drawings that they would like to print along with their reports (think of a production order to build something, we show a list of the materials to use and the drawing/cad would be required).
Currently when a report is generated, the default page order is across then down. If a report spans several pages (both horizontal and vertical) it may make more sense to order the pages such that they print down then across. Our reporting requirements would need to be able to set this option in the code as the report is being generated and before it is passed to the report viewer. A working example of this feature can be found in the page settings interface for MS Excel. A snapshot has been attached.
Graph should be binded to a single DataModel, but many Graph properties should be then be binded to a specific property of this DataModel: -each series should be binded to a specific property (which would be a list). These properties would be the data. -general Graph items like axis title should also be able to be binded to other properties, to allow more complex use. These properties would be the metadata. As it is now, all the data are put in a single list (not developer friendly at all), and using metadata is impossible.
When printing the Online Documentation from Internet Explorer, only the first page is printed. The only way to print it, is to copy the page to Word and then print it. Please add a method of printing a topic.
Hello When we are trying report big data like 10,000 rows are more, it takes awful lot of time to load the report even in the server with big configuration. Like SSRS, it should do page level load and have setting to enable and disable for each report. It will only load few pages and later should load other pages on demand instead of loading all pages. This would be big performance improvement for big data reports. Vijai Spectra Energy
There is no functionality built into the Designer to allow for adding multiple axes to a single graph. You can modify the Designer code manually, but there is very little support if the developer decides to choose this route. I would like to be able to display an unlimited number of axes conditionally and choose which side of the graph they should be placed on conditionally.
The Silverlight report viewer control never clears the cache out of the database. Steps to reproduce: 1. Configure the database cache provider with mssql as defined in the documentation. 2. View a report by setting the Report property of the viewer with the class name of the report. 3. Clear the report when the user is done viewing the report by setting the Report property of the viewer to null. I see the request to invalidate the report session, but the cached data remains in the database. Raw request: <s:Envelope xmlns:s="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"><s:Body><RenderAndCache xmlns="Telerik.ReportService"><format></format><report></report><deviceInfo xmlns:d4p1="http://schemas.microsoft.com/2003/10/Serialization/Arrays" xmlns:i="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"><d4p1:KeyValueOfstringanyType><d4p1:Key>InvalidSessions</d4p1:Key><d4p1:Value xmlns:d6p1="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" i:type="d6p1:string">["035e4409-655c-49ab-a5b0-b9bf5e0d9859"]</d4p1:Value></d4p1:KeyValueOfstringanyType></deviceInfo><parameters xmlns:d4p1="http://schemas.microsoft.com/2003/10/Serialization/Arrays" i:nil="true" xmlns:i="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" /></RenderAndCache></s:Body></s:Envelope>
Add a Property for all controls to be able to set whether the control appears on every page of the report. At present the entire Group Header/Footer may be set to appear on every page, but not just a single control. We required a Barcode and ID. No. to be displayed on every page of the report. It has been really complicated to utilise a series of Group Headers and Sub-Reports to achieve something that should have really easy. The layout of the Report could not be modified as it is set by Government. Telerik Reporting should facilitate turning the complex into the straight forward.
I use telerik reporting R2 graph.I can't styling for categroup grouping have child groups.I think it would have styling for this.thanks.
Without code behind, with a conditional formating changing the Visibility, to avoid empty space in the final report, the control must have its Height put to 0. But then it isn't visible anymore in the designer. With a DesignHeight, it could be still visible in the designer. The other solution would be to be able to change the Height in conditional formating.
It would be nice to have an image filter option when exporting reports to PDF. For example we need to export an image to PDF using the "Flate" algorithm so that the image is not compressed in any way.
I've just had to roll back to version 10.1 R2 2016 SP1 as the latest version (10.2) appears to have a binding issue. I have a report that contains a sub-report that has its DataSource bound to a collection on the main reports object collection. Since upgrading to 10.2 all records show the same ( first record) child collection records. Rolling back to 10.1 cured the issue. Is this a breaking change that requires a design change or is it a bug in this release. Regards Brian
Where a table is embedded inside another table, there is no way to select the cell in the parent table. An option should be available in the 'Select' context menu. An option is available to select the parent Table, but not the cell in the parent table.
Hi, I found a bug, my MVC project is in a subfolder, and for this I have a problem with the ways I use "~" in order to specify the full path to take. and then I have a problem ReportViewer @ (this.Html.TelerikReporting () . ReportViewer () . Id ("reportViewer1") . ServiceUrl ("/api/reports/") . TemplateUrl ("/templates/template.html") . ReportSource (typeReportSource) . ViewMode (ViewModes.PRINT_PREVIEW) . ScaleMode (ScaleModes.SPECIFIC) . Scale (1.0) . PersistSession (false)) the fact that in this form . ServiceUrl ("/ api / reports /") . TemplateUrl ("/ themplate / themplate.html") operating normally. but it turns out that no subfolders. because it is taken still relative. in when the site is in a sub - I get a 404 error. ie ReportViewer script takes a relative path. and this is a big problem :) Once again, my ASP.NET MVC site is in a subfolder of another ASP.NET project. get something like: my site root url: mysite.com/project1 and pages: mysite.com/project1/myreportPage mysite.com/project1/api/reports
