Hello,
I would like to request for the filter component to be supported in the KendoReact suite as it is in the ASP.NET Core UI suite.
One aspect is the hierarchical structure which can support complex filter scenarios but also the support to persist state of a set of filters.
Thank you
Hello,
I have a request to add a ListView control to a React Pure control package.
Thanks.
I'd really like a KeepIt prop on https://www.telerik.com/kendo-react-ui/components/conversationalui/api/Action/ so that the action stays even when someone is typing or there is another message below it.
The use case would be a link to a Order # for example that they could go back to and click.

Example of how this works with react-native-gifted-chat:

Hi
Please build a React component for Map control similar to https://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/map/examples/overview/defaultcs.aspx
Hi

I need to not restrain the window, in the element that was contained in the code.
Just like it was possible in the jQuery version (https://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/api/javascript/ui/window/configuration/draggable.containment),
this feature is a must.
Otherwise, I am being forced to keep my Window on the "top level" element, just so that I can have it not be constrained in the nested element...
The problem with this, is that the Window looks totally out of place, if I need more windows, I will need them all there and it's logic is not clear. The are many issues with that approach...
Please provide a temporary workaround if possible, thanks!
Hi there,
as we are building apps for SharePoint and Office we are in need of a theme that looks like Office 365. Kendo UI for jQuery has that but there's a big shift towards building those apps with Typescript and React. Unfortunately the Kendo UI React package doesn't provide an Office 365 theme so everything we build doesn't integrate well to the look and feel of SharePoint and Office.
It would be great if you were able to migrate that theme over from jQuery to the React components.
Thanks and kind regards
Christian
We have database constraints on certain fields e.g. varchar(10) and would like to prevent the user from entering invalid data into the combo box fields. If it's not too much trouble a minLength field would also be convenient.
When using DateTime's in column using Grid there should really be a way to use MomentJS to convert the value in the column. In jQuery it was a simple case of template: "#:moment().format('dd/MM/yyyy')#". Can we please have this ported over.
The Dropdown section of the components index is described as "The DropDowns allow users to select single or multiple predefined and custom values." I didn't find a way to select multiple values on any of the components (AutoComplete, DropDown, ComboBox)
currently in the React Dialog, you cannot have a Dialog with a Title but without a Close (X) button visible... Whereas in the KendoUI Dialog for jQuery, you can with the 'closable' configuration property... this should also be dynamic to hide/show/enable/disable the close (X) button while the Dialog is visible (ie. when an operation is pending, disable the close button or hide it)
Hi, when entering https://www.telerik.com/kendo-react-ui/getting-started form npmjs.com, I end up on a page with "Try Kendo UI for React" heading, but whole header comes from Kendo UI for Angular project
Like in the jQuery counterpart, when I click on a cell to edit the value - I should be able to tab over to the next cell to edit it.
The KendoReact Tooltip component only displays tooltips on hover (the showTooltip method is called on the onMouseOver and onMouseLeave events). It would be ideal if the showTooltip method was also called on the onFocus event as well, making the user experience the same for keyboard-only users.
Most other UI libraries treat hover/focus the same for consistency and accessibility.
Bootstrap requires it:
https://getbootstrap.com/docs/4.1/components/tooltips/#making-tooltips-work-for-keyboard-and-assistive-technology-users
Material UI allows you to disable focus interaction, but the default is that focus is handled the same as hover:
