We have many tasks, and rendering in gantt so slowly. If use Pager with datasource, gantt show items on level 2 and above. Please, add virtualization + virtual scroll in gantt control
-- Problem: Consider a datasource where at least two date fields span a large time frame. We can build a chart that aggregates that data by small units (categoryAxis.baseUnits) such as 'days' or 'months'. That chart however contains many empty data points and the 'real' data is difficult to locate on the chart. This often requires zooming in and out many times to view the data one is looking for. However, it is still very valuable to be able to group by day or month, and to view this data in one succinct image.
-- Demo: The best way to experience this is to use the following Demo
This dojo is from the 'Date axis' chart demo on the demos.telerik.com site under Kendo UI for JQuery. Edit the example. There are 17 values in the datasource. Change the year on the last value to '2019'. All current values have dates between 2011-2012.
-- Required Chart Setup: Create a chart utilizing the following chart options
series.aggregate = 'avg'
categoryAxis.baseUnit = 'days'
dataSource with fields that contain at least one large date span
Add option to hide date aggregates chart points where no data exists within the datasource.
We are trying to use the Kendo Jquery spreadsheet but are running across some issues in terms of setting up for printing and/or exporting to PDF.
Currently, we let the user modify the spreadsheet to suit their needs. The problem is there is no way to see page breaks at this time...that we know of. The users stretch columns and row to suit their needs but the only way to see if they 'broke' across a page is to export to pdf to see...
We would like one or two options...
1. We know what our page size is - 8 1/2 x 11. Is there a way to fix the max size of the spreadsheet so it's 1 page wide? If the user inserts columns then the other columns just get smaller and smaller - proportionally - but ultimately the sheet is as only as wide as 1 page...
2. The ability to see where the page breaks are so they can set up the sheet correctly.
Please let me know if one of these options is feasible or are we stuck?
I would love it if I could add a header to the PDF when using drawTabularData. I'd like to add some header information (e.g. some text above the table) describing what the PDF contains. Ideally this would repeat on each page of the PDF. For context, I'm using drawTabularData to export data from a Grid component to PDF in a way that supports horizontal page splitting (column splitting).
Changes to edit cells are lost when clicking the next cell or other rows in the TreeList.
Dojo Example adapted from TreeList InCell Editing demo (also attached):
I need option to add the emojis with content in Telerik kendo editor MVC.
Does this editor has emojis option in tool bar? If yes, kindly share the sample code or link.
If it's not has emojis option, kindly let us know how to achieve this.
The footer has an API option so you can change it declaratively.
The header also needs an API option, so that we can either adjust the view button's text (by default the button provides a way to change the calendar's view) or to replace the button entirely with something else, like a centered drop-down month selection button (just an example, my use case was to center, bold, and display the title of the calendar while getting rid of the ability to change the view). Be good if this option handled supported either a string or a template or a function, depending on what is best for the control's future plans.
There should be a render function of some sort that can be called that changes how the Uploads are displayed.
In the attached image, I uploaded a single file, then two additional files.
Rather than having a set of one and a set of two, I'd prefer to have either a set of three, or three sets of 1.
I understand that the plugin creates an input element for each individual uploading, however, I think there would be value in being able to join or split those files into multiple elements. It may even be beneficial to add and utilize a FileList object in the Kendo Upload object, as this would allow for the uploads to be sorted alphabetically, or by type, and so on.
To recreate the behavior mentioned, simply upload any number of files to an Upload control and then do that one more time. The behavior can be recreated on the Telerik website demos.
2. Open attached MultipleSheetsRowHeightIssue.xlsx
3. Please notice there are 3 sheets with default row height 20, 30, 40 respectively (you can check in MS Excel)
4. Now Click export, and open the exported file again
5. Now we have an issue here - all sheets set to default row height to 40. (It seems that it is setting the last sheet's default row height to all sheets)
Its severe issue, please share a fix or at least provide some workaround.
The div-based (inline) editor changes the size of the editor container as the text in the editor changes - it both increases and decreases in height as the user changes content.
We'd like to have the same capabilities in the iframe-based editor so that the DOM around it can flow according to the current content size.
It would be great if the KendoUI Grid could be enhanced to automagically recognize when it's grouping by a date field and then offer additional options to group the dates by Day, Week, Month, Quarter, or Year.
Dear Telerik team.
I would love to have the possibility to use drag & drop with different browser windows. As shown here.
That way my customers could make use of their multi-monitor workplaces. Opening a grid or listview with items on one screen and opening a scheduler on the other screen. Then dragging from the grid to the scheduler.
