I would suggest to enter the function menu script that is described in the following link. This is an interesting application that really makes it easy to navigate the menus user an. http://bjk5.com/post/44698559168/breaking-down-amazons-mega-dropdown
When I resize the window I get so now and then the above issue. Please add a check whether "window" is undefined or not. It is at line number 70738 in de kendo.all.js of version 2018.2.620
We have a problem when working with grid in batch edit mode which puts different fields in the In cell edit mode. The problem is that cell that are not edited (for example you create a new row, edit only the first field, press save) are never validated. This is of course because they never went into edit mode, so the control and validation was never rendered. Please give us a feature for such scenario.
It would be nice if tasks could be added to gantt that are missing a start date, end date or both dates. For our use case this feature is not only useful, but mandatory. We are visualising a project workflow that goes through several phases and steps. Within our application, the client fills in the dates for these tasks and milestones as the project progresses. Not all dates are filled-in at all times, however when a project manager creates a gantt chart, he wants to see all the tasks. A task without a date is an information in itself. Currently we have to create a fake date entry for tasks without dates.
When endless scrolling and grouping is enabled on the KendoUI grid, collapsing large groups causes the grid to load ALL the hidden detail rows into the DOM.
This takes a very long time for the grid to do, as well it violates the whole point of a paging system. (ie I only want you to load X records at a time). Afterwards the performance of entire website (including the grid) will be very poor since potentially thousands of rows have been loaded into the grid and then immediately hidden. Additionally, these rows do not add any value to the user, since they are all hidden anyways.
When a category is collapsed, the grid should NOT add any new rows for that category to the DOM.
I have included a sample that demonstrates the performance issues.
I'd like to have the ability for icons to be displayed in Internet Explorer even when web font downloads are disabled. It seems the best way to support this scenario is to use inline SVG in order to support changing the icon colors. See https://www.telerik.com/forums/is-there-a-fallback-from-webfont-icons Thank you.
Allow customization of the Validation Tooltip position.
For example, positioning the Tooltip based on the cell, on the input.
I have to design the flow chart as below using the kendo diagram.
After dragging the connection from bottom shape (Add task) to top shape (Default) as per the requirement it is showing like below. Actually both are same but the design look & feel is completely changed. i want to see the flowchart as like above one. Kindly provide solution for this.
At the moment, the DataSource only uses one field for its ID property (if you enter several, then only one is used, apparently). This doesn't reflect reality, in that in many cases (where one record is a child of another), the key field for a database table is a composite (from 2 or more fields). The existing situation causes problems in inline editing of the KendoUI grid, because default values need to be set for foreign key fields, but if these are set to a valid value, then spurious calls to the Inline_Create method occur because the DataSource treats the record as a new record when it is not. In any case, allowing multiple fields would simply reflect reality.
It would be nice if additional template variables where available, the only two: pageNum & totalPages are not enough.
Consider Time of Day & Filename at a minimum.
We are using Kendo UI editor in our project and one of our requirement was to implement the inline comment feature. I have implemented a extension to Kendo editor using JS inbuild functions and CSS to create a Inline comments for any text in the editor. User can select any text in the kendo editor and add review comments against it. Other user can see the comments, Reply to the comments or add, delete, edit their own comments. User can clear all the comments on click of one button.
As suggested here : http://www.telerik.com/forums/supporting-both-comma-and-dot-for-decimal-input With this example : http://trykendoui.telerik.com/ikId/2 Having to force either the dot or comma for numerical input is cumbersome in applications where customers input data all day long and it has to be effective. I would suggest a flag named along the lines of "IgnoreCultureOnInput" which would allow you to punch in either the dot or the comma, but have it converted it back into your local for display. Note that the example above is not complete as it is : 1 - locale specific (won't adjust if you locale calls for a comma instead) 2 - does not support text selection
Introduce an expression builder for specifying filtering the grid by custom rules. Similar to the RadGrid for Silverlight: http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#ExpressionEditor/FilteringGridView
We have many tasks, and rendering in gantt so slowly. If use Pager with datasource, gantt show items on level 2 and above. Please, add virtualization + virtual scroll in gantt control
