Although that the ListBox is similar to the MultiSelect, at the moment it does not have such model binding, because it is also comparable with the data management widgets and for the initial release of the ListBox our developers decided to consider the model binding only if there is demand for it. With that in mind, you could create a feature request in our public portal for that feature: http://www.telerik.com/forums/listbox-bind-to-model-view
I am using kendo's Gantt chart. But I unable to achieve few things using the existing Gantt chart features.
Following are the features I request should be provided for Gantt chart:

5. If task label is exceeding the width of the task, then height of the task should be increased to accommodate task label(in other words, text should be wrapped). Also, font-size of the text should be responsive, that is, font-size should be reduced to accommodate entire text in minimum task height.
Refer above image for point 5
Currently, you cannot disable all columns in the column menu - it requires that at least one column is enabled.
However, if the grid contains any non-hidden columns which have IncludeInMenu=false, then it should be possible to disable all the remaining columns using the column menu.
It would be great if you would add accessabbility to the spreadsheet as it seems to be the last control without this feature.
Currently the focus gets trapped inside its grid and the user cannot leave the spreadsheet with the TAB key. At least this should be avoided. It would be also better if only the first cell would be focusable and you then could navigate with the arrow keys, as with thousands of cells it is not very comfortable to use the TAB key.
It would be nice to have a feature in Charts were we can drag and drop the series points especially with Line & Bar charts. This will allow the end user to interact with data visually.
My marketing department has requested a specific look for a chart. The Moc up image is http://i.imgur.com/Z2hKaei.jpg in order to achive what they are asking I need the Labels to work in the Bullet Charts. It would also be great if you could add a label to the Target as pictured in the image.
At the moment only the Kendo UI Grid with enabled mobile option will generate a header which can react to the touch and hold gesture.
This makes column resizing impossible when a web grid is used on mobile/tablet. Can you check internally if the grid is used on a mobile browser and create the mobile headers that work with the touch and hold gesture even when the grid does not have the mobile property enabled. This should work out of the box for all grids:
We are have gone through the documentation for make specific column editable. We found that we need to make it in schema. As we are using some complex objects along with ODATA expand.
We are unable to maintain or Add all the fields under schema. If we make a editable property of column to Boolean and based on value framework will me either read-only or editable.
Consider a scenario like Grid with 10 columns based on quantity, price, discount change need to calculate the tax.
Here tax calculation will be dynamic and some columns we can add on the fly.
In some cases like ODATA expand if i want to make expanded column to editable then it a tough process to edit
like above situations it will be useful if we make column editable to Boolean for achieve column level editing
I want to sort rows and columns by values (not fieldnames). One way to do that is like it's done by DevExpress (https://demos.devexpress.com/ASPxPivotGridDemos/OLAP/Browser.aspx). By right clicking a field i can choose for with field, row, column and measurement i want to sort. But even this solution could be more userfriendly. Another more direct solution would be to sort by clicking on a measurement field or if there is only one, on a fieldname. Both are just suggestions. But the functionality of sorting by values is really relevant. http://www.telerik.com/forums/sort-rows-and-columns-by-values
Support for different calendars (not just Georgian based ones) like Hijri calendars (different types) and so on. To support this you need to have an API overridable calendars to let people define their calendars by themselves.
As a suggestion from the response that I've got from Ivan Danchev, I'm raising a new feature to enable/disable columns auto-resize in the the treelist of the gantt chart. Currently the columns width is "static" when it is defined in the column configuration. It'll be great if the columns are resized automatically depending on the length of content in the columns.
The TreeList control doesn't allow for a fixed row of aggregates at the bottom of the control. I would like to have the option to enable a row of "Grand Total" aggregates that are aggregates of the whole data set. This row would be fixed at the bottom of the control and wouldn't be scrollable. This is functionality that the Kendo Grid has that isn't available in the Kendo TreeList.
On excel, you can filter merged rows. On the kendo spreadsheet widget, filtering on merged rows is not possible. It would be a very useful feature for us. Also worth noting is that if you convert an excel file to JSON using Telerik RadSpreadProcessing, and load the kendo widget with the JSON, the widget displays a filter icon but clicking it loads a non-functioning filter. Wouldn't it make more sense to load with a message along the lines of 'You loaded a spreadsheet with filters applied to merged rows, which is not supported in this widget'. Otherwise it's quite confusing to our users.
