Add a new control to edit filters/queries like in Visual Studio online (see "How to: Design a Query by Using the Query Designer", https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff852016.aspx)
Add property that defines a delay before requesting new items when scrolling. This would prevent sending multiple request when dragging the scrollbar and passing more than one page.
We currently use ObjectPlanets EasyCharts and they allow you to define a drill-down URL that can be associated with each line or bar. This allows us to have a bar chart on a page with a data grid. When the user clicks a bar, a URL is posted to the server that populates the data grid with more detail on the selected chart item.
Telerik is pushing their support for Angular pretty hard now, and I think that is wonderful. But with it, you're still leaving the documentation on the matter pretty sparse and kind of obscure. Right now, it is kind of tucked away out of sight here: http://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/getting-started/introduction Though to your credit, you __have__ updated all of the demos with an _Angular_ example, which is __very appreciated__ and I thank you much for it. I think it would make me, and many others I know, a lot more comfortable if the support for Angular were treated a bit more first class. As long as it continues to be put in out of the way places, it still feels very 'unofficial' or 'tentative'. Could we possibly get a more expansive documentation right on the demos page, perhaps under "tools", or a new actual "Angular" folder on the primary API documentation?
Add Link Tab to Image Editor The idea is to add a link tab within the Image Editor that allows users to wrap the image with an href. This would cut out a step for people who want to add a link to images. (This functionality is available in the ckEditor)
It would be extremely nice if the "Insert Video" was added to the Editor. I know there are "hacks" and workarounds that make this possible, but it just doesn't have the right feeling to it. The editor in WordPress gives plenty more options to insert a video, and it's easier to use than the hacks/workarounds.
A couple of suggestions for UI widgets 1. Time Pie - A small circle not unlike a pie chart, with the full 24 hour cycle around its perimeter. Example: http://oakland.crimespotting.org/ 2. Calendar Week Bar Chart - A bar chart associated to the calendar week. Example: http://oakland.crimespotting.org/
Allow storing a deadline in a Gantt Task. This could be used to visualise deadlines as you can in Telerik's Silverlight Gantt chart: http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#GanttView/Deadline, or it could be used to figure out which tasks to highlight that are late, overdue or on the critical path.
Like k-textbox and k-button css provided with kendoUI - I would like to have it extended for simple box with title, expand collapse button etc. This may be more like [Group] control in winforms. so we can group the controls and enable/disable it as needed.
It would be nice to have a feature in Charts were we can drag and drop the series points especially with Line & Bar charts. This will allow the end user to interact with data visually.
Currently there is no way to tell when a new connection is created between two shapes. The add event is called when the connection line first appears on the screen, but there is no event to capture when the connection is made to another shape. This would be extremely helpful when users are creating flow charts and assigning prerequisites by drawing connections.
User want to drag the series point as well as series line(whole series line) in any direction, so the user can move the series where he want, please refer the below URL, where user can move the series point in vertical direction only, likewise the user want to drag the series point as well as series line in any direction, so he can set the threshold limit where he want by using the custom series and analysis the chart against his threshold limit http://jsfiddle.net/SpaceDog/QsKaJ/1/
These guys have very good toolking for nework diagrams visualization. Could you make something similiar? It would be great for many uses network, antifraud, etc http://cambridge-intelligence.com/keylines/
At this time rendering a chart based on a large amount of data takes a while during that period: - loading animation stops moving - browser does not respond to any action - worst case the bowsers long-running-script alert appears Suggestions: - Would it be possible (for telerik) to do the rendering of chart in a JS web worker (JS background thread)? - and/or is it possible to cut rendering code into small pieces (common solution to avoid browser message mentioned above) using setTimeout()? - give user the ability to stop rendering chart (ideally show percentage of rendering progress) Benefits: - keep loading animation moving while chart is rendered - letting the user decide to stop the script if it takes too long - suppressing browser message caused by long running script
