Plotband functionality for RadHtmlCharts in UI for Asp.net AJAX definitely needs the ability to add tooltips and labels, otherwise the plotband is meaningless.
My marketing department has requested a specific look for a chart. The Moc up image is http://i.imgur.com/Z2hKaei.jpg in order to achive what they are asking I need the Labels to work in the Bullet Charts. It would also be great if you could add a label to the Target as pictured in the image.
As a suggestion from the response that I've got from Ivan Danchev, I'm raising a new feature to enable/disable columns auto-resize in the the treelist of the gantt chart. Currently the columns width is "static" when it is defined in the column configuration. It'll be great if the columns are resized automatically depending on the length of content in the columns.
This is just a general question in relation to Kendo UI. Does the Kendo UI component from the DevCraft susbcription has a wrapper for expressjs/nodejs
If not, there is any plan to add this to the library
We need the ability to merge grid rows with the same values (see attached). This is a feature our customers have come accustom to with our Windows UI and the Developer Express toolkit. I understand I can manipulate the rowTemplate to achieve similar results but it is my understanding this will cause issues with row selection, editing, etc... Is this something that can be introduced in the future?
If we make an input readonly it doesn't get validated and wee need it to be validated on a readonly datepicker.
In kend.all.min.js we have
and if i modify it by adding readonly like below
We need to make that code configurable because the workarounds concerining this problem it's buggy.
Fish Bone diagram is a nice feature which is very useful for the applications to provide the root cause analysis in any vertical.
Syncfusion is having a nice in built control to do the same.
A similar feature from Kendo UI is needed to include it in our existing applications.
1)I have configured drop-down(list) for the values in the cell of spread sheet.
2)Scroll bar is not coming in that drop down list.
3)Due to which if list is big ,it is going out of sheet.
4)Please see the screenshot attached to see the issue.
I'm using kendo ui for mvc and a control that could be very useful is a captcha for form submission. For sure you can integrate it by using Google reCaptcha in a easy way not only for kendo ui for web but for mvc also.A good idea could be to integrate you own captcha control (for intranet environment, or private internet network ) because reCaptcha only work with a stable internet connection (Google Web Service).
Currently Kendo only supports TrueType fonts for embedding in PDF files. OpenType support would be great since it's a more modern format overall, and there are many fonts that are only available as OpenType (for example Google's Noto fonts).
I would suggest to enter the function menu script that is described in the following link. This is an interesting application that really makes it easy to navigate the menus user an. http://bjk5.com/post/44698559168/breaking-down-amazons-mega-dropdown
I'd like to have the ability for icons to be displayed in Internet Explorer even when web font downloads are disabled. It seems the best way to support this scenario is to use inline SVG in order to support changing the icon colors. See https://www.telerik.com/forums/is-there-a-fallback-from-webfont-icons Thank you.
Allow customization of the Validation Tooltip position.
For example, positioning the Tooltip based on the cell, on the input.
I would love it if I could add a header to the PDF when using drawTabularData. I'd like to add some header information (e.g. some text above the table) describing what the PDF contains. Ideally this would repeat on each page of the PDF. For context, I'm using drawTabularData to export data from a Grid component to PDF in a way that supports horizontal page splitting (column splitting).
It would be great if the KendoUI Grid could be enhanced to automagically recognize when it's grouping by a date field and then offer additional options to group the dates by Day, Week, Month, Quarter, or Year.
