Currently, you cannot disable all columns in the column menu - it requires that at least one column is enabled.
However, if the grid contains any non-hidden columns which have IncludeInMenu=false, then it should be possible to disable all the remaining columns using the column menu.
It would be great if you would add accessabbility to the spreadsheet as it seems to be the last control without this feature.
Currently the focus gets trapped inside its grid and the user cannot leave the spreadsheet with the TAB key. At least this should be avoided. It would be also better if only the first cell would be focusable and you then could navigate with the arrow keys, as with thousands of cells it is not very comfortable to use the TAB key.
Most of the time project managers would like to compare planned start & end dates vs actual start and end dates in gantt view. This feature is not supported by current Gantt chart. What I'm envisioning is something similar to the implementation of Gantt chart by Fusion Charts. (http://www.fusioncharts.com/charts/gantt-charts/). Displaying delays in actual task compared to plan would be an an added advantage. This feature may be implemented using a task template, but it's nice to have feature in the control.
Excel supports deselecting cells from selected ranges, e.g. selecting a range from cell A1 to A10 results in a range A1:A10. Then deselecting cell A5 from that range produces two new ranges - A1:A4 and A6:A10.
Now a more complex example - selecting multiple ranges with intersecting cells - A1:B10, A5:D10, A9:C14 and A9:G9.
Deselecting cell B9 in Excel produces a new range with cell A9 only and then a range C9:G9. And B9 should be excluded from the other 3 ranges.
Currently the Spreadsheet widget does not know how to do this. There is no logic to decide what new ranges should be created on such operation. What it currently knows is creating new ranges and these ranges may overlap. Thus clicking on cell B9 creates a new range with cell B9, instead of deselecting B9 from the already selected ranges.
We build a project on Kendo, and incorrectly assumed we would see similar levels of tools in the ditor as per the ASP.Net ajax implementation. We were surprised to find the image editor was not available. I guess I dont really understand why you couldnt call the existing functionality from the server side using Ajax as a fast way to beef up the functionality for Kendo?
Add tooltips and background images/borders to the Gauges. The current way of setting the background image using CSS works but is somewhat complex. Setting a border on the gauge does not surround the shape of the gauge, but rather results in a square. Allow a border around the gauge's physical shape (for example, in a half circle radial gauge, the border is around the half circle), or some nicer built-in backgrounds/borders.
It would be nice to have a feature in Charts were we can drag and drop the series points especially with Line & Bar charts. This will allow the end user to interact with data visually.
If you open the popup of the above components and resize the browser window with the popup still opened, the component is being resized according to the window size but the popup keeps its initial width.
The above scenario can be observed on this link: https://dojo.telerik.com/ovOTUDeV
I am using kendo's Gantt chart. But I unable to achieve few things using the existing Gantt chart features.
Following are the features I request should be provided for Gantt chart:
Refer above image for point 1-4
5. If task label is exceeding the width of the task, then height of the task should be increased to accommodate task label(in other words, text should be wrapped). Also, font-size of the text should be responsive, that is, font-size should be reduced to accommodate entire text in minimum task height.

There are occasions when the out-of-the-box filter operators can't be used, such as filtering on nested objects. In these situations I use a custom function for the filter operator.
It would be great if the Filter widget could support custom filter operators.
I realise this would be challenging, as it would break the save/load state function and would be difficult to handle in the expressionPreview.
I'd like to request the functionality to change the multiple selection process of the Kendo UI Grid to be the same as Excel. For example, the following shows a block of cells selected instead of all of the cells in-between the selected cells from Shift+Clicking:
There is no way to sort the selected items inside the MultiSelect.
It would be nice to have such functionality implemented or provide an implementation that can achieve the described functionality.
