Currently, the relation between the MultiSelect input and its TagList element (the one that holds the selected items) is established with an aria-describedby attribute. That results in the screen readers to report the selection (all selected items) as one line of text which doesn't adequately describe the control or and its context. The text of each selected item is announced but it is not clear how many items are selected. Also, there is no articulation between each item text that is announced.
Consider and implement better relation/structure, so that the context of the widget (the selected items and their number) is announced clearly.
CSP is a great security feature. It should be fully supported by Kendo! The best would be some way to precompile Kendo Templates. Second option could be that you can use Kendo + CSP when not using own Kendo Templates at all.
Add option for manual calculation of formulas, as available in Excel.
It would be a great feature to have to save time for inputting values without updating other dependent cells and once data entry is done user could press "Calculate Now" and all of the cells updated in one go, same as we do have this feature in MS Excel 365.
Dear Telerik, When we export the grid data to PDF, then there should be a option to password protect resulted PDF file. Thanks Regards Surinder
Our users love how pretty Kendo UI charts are. We usually visualize data for them with Pie or Bar charts, often in combination with a Kendo UI Grid. However they almost always want the ability to export what they see in the browser to PowerPoint. One workaround might be to save the Kendo elements to an image and stick that into a PowerPoint slide. However they don't want that. They want a real PowerPoint slides with real PowerPoint charts and grids live objects like they were initially created in PowerPoint. We have managed to implement something to do that with OpenXML, but it will be a HUGE time saver if Kendo does that out of the box.
Implement functionality that enables the dynamic change of the chunk size when uploading a file.
This change should depend on file size and upload speed.
It would be great if you would add accessabbility to the spreadsheet as it seems to be the last control without this feature.
Currently the focus gets trapped inside its grid and the user cannot leave the spreadsheet with the TAB key. At least this should be avoided. It would be also better if only the first cell would be focusable and you then could navigate with the arrow keys, as with thousands of cells it is not very comfortable to use the TAB key.
We build a project on Kendo, and incorrectly assumed we would see similar levels of tools in the ditor as per the ASP.Net ajax implementation. We were surprised to find the image editor was not available. I guess I dont really understand why you couldnt call the existing functionality from the server side using Ajax as a fast way to beef up the functionality for Kendo?
Add tooltips and background images/borders to the Gauges. The current way of setting the background image using CSS works but is somewhat complex. Setting a border on the gauge does not surround the shape of the gauge, but rather results in a square. Allow a border around the gauge's physical shape (for example, in a half circle radial gauge, the border is around the half circle), or some nicer built-in backgrounds/borders.

The ListView is not navigatable by keyboard
The ListView should be navigatable and selectable by keyboard
Most of the time project managers would like to compare planned start & end dates vs actual start and end dates in gantt view. This feature is not supported by current Gantt chart. What I'm envisioning is something similar to the implementation of Gantt chart by Fusion Charts. (http://www.fusioncharts.com/charts/gantt-charts/). Displaying delays in actual task compared to plan would be an an added advantage. This feature may be implemented using a task template, but it's nice to have feature in the control.
Excel supports deselecting cells from selected ranges, e.g. selecting a range from cell A1 to A10 results in a range A1:A10. Then deselecting cell A5 from that range produces two new ranges - A1:A4 and A6:A10.
Now a more complex example - selecting multiple ranges with intersecting cells - A1:B10, A5:D10, A9:C14 and A9:G9.
Deselecting cell B9 in Excel produces a new range with cell A9 only and then a range C9:G9. And B9 should be excluded from the other 3 ranges.
Currently the Spreadsheet widget does not know how to do this. There is no logic to decide what new ranges should be created on such operation. What it currently knows is creating new ranges and these ranges may overlap. Thus clicking on cell B9 creates a new range with cell B9, instead of deselecting B9 from the already selected ranges.
