The NumericTextBox should behave like standard input fields and automatically select all the text when tabbing into the control. This should work for NumericTextBox controls whether using inside or outside of a Kendo grid.
I was working with Sencha ExtJS and they have to option to make components "stateful" (http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/6.2.0/classic/Ext.state.Provider.html). This will safe user modified settings in browser (defaults to cookie but you can provide your own implementation). Example (for grid): * we specify width=100 for first colum * we allow users to resize columns * If a users resizes a column the new width will be stored in state * ... if the user later opens the page again, values from state will overwrite "defaults" from code. If we use this for column width, visibility and order we've a perfect customizable grid view.
I have this problem where I use the window but I turn off your titles and use my own custom made because of the specifc layout I have. But by doing so I lose the option of making the window draggable since it can only by dragged by its title. Give us a simple config option to set any elements inside the window as the draggable points. That way I can set my own header and make the window draggable by holding it.
As discussed on the forum (http://www.telerik.com/forums/virtualization-for-treelist) please improve the rendering/scrolling/expanding/collapsing performance of TreeLists with many expanded rows. Grids support virtualization and work well with hundreds of thousands of rows (http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/grid/virtualization-local-data). Perhaps virtualization can be added to TreeLists to achieve similar results?
You've already got two "Material" themes, but they don't really seem to match the Google Material Design guidelines (http://www.google.com/design/spec/material-design/introduction.html). Would it be possible to add a new theme that accurately tracks the Material Design guidelines?
Windows should be able to be contained or restricted to a specific area. This can either be using parameters or by containing it to a parent object/DIV. Reasons: Windows can be dragged anywhere on the browser document and when maximized they take up the entire document. This is a problem if you have an area of the document that you always want to have visible. In my example, I have a toolbar at the top of the screen 25px high and I would like the windows to never move into that area so that it is always accessible.
Reopen from http://kendoui-feedback.telerik.com/forums/127393-kendo-ui-feedback/suggestions/10600184-grid-in-combobox Details about this widget were described in user comments.
Automatically add page breaks to PDF export, currently if exporting contents with very long contents it exports as one single long page, the page break should happen based on the Page size for example "A4"
Provide properties to set min/max time of the DateTimePicker, e.g always shows from 8AM to 5PM of everyday.
"WebAPI now uses the DateTimeOffset time as a main type when it comes to dates. However DateTimeOffet requires the Model(that the dataSource creates) to keep information for both Date and Offset which is not possible with the current architecture of the DataSource and Model of Kendo." Based on http://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/aspnet-mvc/helpers/grid/how-to/oData-v4-web-api-controller Please add full support, also when working with Dates. Thanks.
A TreeView in ComboBox would be most helpful as both a stand-alone control and when editing within the Grid. something like this: http://www.brad-smith.info/blog/archives/193 (example from .NET Windows forms world) * Used for relative small tree data structure. * User may select one (many) item(s), without _loosing context_ (no interrupting dialog box, 'flat' interface). * User may accept selection by click on item, or pressing 'enter'. * User may cancel (hide) popup when click outside control/popup (ie in another control, that received focus) or pressing escape - like in combobox/dropdown. * It will be nice if user can select items using keyboard arrows. * After opening popup or selecting item, widget still has focus * When user types in combo (with open popup), data should be filtered. * No additional 'ok' or 'cancel' buttons to accept/dismiss selection.
