Editor using editable Div container is really better, for various reasons, that editor using iframe.

Inline Editor can be the solution, but I want also a nice standard editor as the standard mode.

A simple and good solution can be add a new parameter as "toolbarContainer" that is a dom element where editor put the toolbar.

If noset in standard mode, editor apply standard strategy and put it in a div on top of iframe.

If noset in inline mode, editor apply standard strategy and put it in a flying popup.

if set, toolbar editor put toolbar in the selected area.

Thanks,

marc.

Currently you cannot rename a folder. If you can create and delete you should also be able to rename.

It would be nice to have a boolean property with the Editor to detect an enter keypress, and end the current style. We have custom css classes that the user "can't get out of" without going into the html view. Another option would be a tool that would "end formatting" so that further content would be unformatted.

This problem can be seen at one of the demos, http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/web/editor/styles.html. Go to the end of the content, type something, choose the "highlight" style, hit enter. The style is permanent until you use the arrow key down or click below the current content.

IT would be nice for the Kendo Editor "Snippet" feature to read its list for a datasource. and also provide events to system when the Snippet selection is changed.

RE: Support ID:1010795 -- KendoUI Editor Stripping
Why does your editor control:
a. Strip whitespace?
b. Provide no way to change this behaviour with an option?

I think it is clear that this was a design/coding error on your part, so can you please rectify this please?

Please add support NewLineMode property like in RadEditor.

I need this behavior:
The last available option of the NewLineMode property is Div which will insert a div (<div> tag) on every carriage return (pressing Enter). In order to insert a <br /> tag in this mode press Shift+Enter .

It would be extremely nice if the "Insert Video" was added to the Editor. I know there are "hacks" and workarounds that make this possible, but it just doesn't have the right feeling to it. The editor in WordPress gives plenty more options to insert a video, and it's easier to use than the hacks/workarounds.

I love that most of the big Kendo Components are now available to use with Vue Wrappers but the Kendo Editor is still not supported. The Kendo Editor is one of the best WYSIWYG editors that I've used but unfortunately I'm not able to take full advantage of it in my current Vue application.

The editor should be able to paste text from word 1:1. Currently it's not working wekk,

Have a look at this post in your support forum: http://www.kendoui.com/forums/ui/editor/copy-text-from-office-to-editor.aspx

Create events for the ImageBrowser for both standard widget and MVC Wrappers.

Many times I want to style my images that are being inserted by wrapping them in some custom HTML DIV's and SPAN's. This would allow them to include code for prettyPhoto for example, contain classes that can float the image right or left, allow for margin's, etc.

Including the capability of adding snippets that would wrap around the image when Insert is clicked would add a lot of value.

I guess templates could be used, but the capability would need to be there.

Anything to allow me to modify the way the Image HTML is inserted into my text would save me lots of time.

If the DEL key is pressed at the end of Row 1.1.1

- Row 1
  - Row 1.1
    - Row 1.1.1
- Row 2
- Row 3

then it looks like this (with two slashes -)

- Row 1
  - Row 1.1
    - Row 1.1.1Row 2
- - Row 3

This is the answer from Telerik:
I am afraid the result of the delete key press comes entirely from the browser. You can check out this example here: http://dojo.telerik.com/ejEfu. If you repeat the same steps, you will get the same results. This is how the browser interprets the deletion with del key in this scenario.
The Kendo Efitor does not somehow interrupt the browser deletion functionality and currently has no control over the content that is deleted and replaced. You could possible suggest a feature request on the topic in the Kendo Feedback channel so that others can vote for your suggestion. The solution of that case would be the deletion commands to be controlled via custom editor commands (something that is not present currently).

Thanks

can we have the same functionalities as the AJAX html editor?
There are a number of controls missing from the new editor that was not in the old telerik editor. including Add spell check, cut, copy and paste {several options}, undo, redo, new paragraph, horizontal rules, insert time, insert symbol. Anyway to bring those functionalities into ASP.net core?

It would be nice if we had a Table Wizard (as in RAD Editor) for changing formatting for tables inside Kendo UI Editor (e.g. changing style and color of borders, font and background colors for cells, merging and splitting cells, setting size of the table, and other features that exist in RAD Editor). We're migrating to Kendo UI from RAD controls and Table Wizard for Kendo UI Editor is needed.

Are you planning to implement something like Table Wizard in the near future?

It would be nice to have a code-formatter like the one in the MVC Extensions, or even an easy way to plug-in an open source code formatter into the Editor.

In the editor, the image manager search should search the current folder and any folders underneath it and return all matching images. Currently it only searches the current directory.
