With this customization it will be possible to use checkboxes or combo boxes and normalize the selection of data. Actually is possible to use only text and date columns.
I would like to use drag and drop on treeList to reorder rows (with same parent) like on treeView or at least to have same events (drag, dragstart, dragend, drop), where I'll be able to change behaviour.
In horizontal configuration, with resources displayed down the left side of the control, a large number of resources will cause the control to stop functioning. In some cases, like ours, we do not have the option to filter the resources by those that have scheduled events, and so infinite scrolling is necessary for the number of resources we need to support. For reference, see the forum post about this here: http://www.telerik.com/forums/virtual-scrolling-for-scheduler-with-many-resources
Most of the time project managers would like to compare planned start & end dates vs actual start and end dates in gantt view. This feature is not supported by current Gantt chart. What I'm envisioning is something similar to the implementation of Gantt chart by Fusion Charts. (http://www.fusioncharts.com/charts/gantt-charts/). Displaying delays in actual task compared to plan would be an an added advantage. This feature may be implemented using a task template, but it's nice to have feature in the control.
Currently events >24h are automatically shown in the all day area. This is confusing if the event starts or ends somewhere during the day. E.g. it starts at 5 p.m. on tuesday and ends on 11 a.m. on thursday. Noone knows when the resource is really available if the event is shown as all day from tuesday to thursday. There should be an option to turn that behaviour off and show such events as regular events. Maybe the only thing needing change is this line in _renderEvents: var isMultiDayEvent = event.isAllDay || event.end.getTime() - event.start.getTime() >= MS_PER_DAY;
We have a need to be able to provide a dropdown above the scheduler, in order to allow the end user to change the time zone of the scheduler dynamically, even after it has been initialized. Our team was disappointed that this is currently not possible (http://www.telerik.com/forums/timezone-dropdown), but maybe in the future. Thanks for reading.
We build a project on Kendo, and incorrectly assumed we would see similar levels of tools in the ditor as per the ASP.Net ajax implementation. We were surprised to find the image editor was not available. I guess I dont really understand why you couldnt call the existing functionality from the server side using Ajax as a fast way to beef up the functionality for Kendo?
Use case: My app doesn't know how many rows of data the excel spreadsheet will be prior to upload. I've defaulted to my maximum amount of 10,000 which will be normal for some, but overkill for others. The ability to change the number of rows/columns to accommodate the size of the sheet after loading, would be a nice addition. As a workaround, I'm destroying and reloading the widget instance after the initial load.
It would be nice that export-to-excell feature supports the text orientation which is supported by MS Office and Open Office. This feature lets the user to have vertical text in the worksheet.
Hi, It would be better to show a label for the pointer shown in the linear gauge. As without the label, it would be difficult to interpret the exact value of the pointer.
Add tooltips and background images/borders to the Gauges. The current way of setting the background image using CSS works but is somewhat complex. Setting a border on the gauge does not surround the shape of the gauge, but rather results in a square. Allow a border around the gauge's physical shape (for example, in a half circle radial gauge, the border is around the half circle), or some nicer built-in backgrounds/borders.
It would be great, if I get a feature to allow to drag multiple selected nodes from treeview to drop to Treelist nodes. I need this by using MVC telerik not Kendo
