if you compare the rad editor with the Kendo wysiwyg editor, the Kendo one lacks the wide range of functionality. It would be nice if they were the same.

ASP.NET MVC 4 RC bundle and minimize function useless with kendoui's CSS.
When ASP.NET MVC-s built-in bundling is enabled, kendoui's css-es are broked in the minification.
There are some other miscrepancy between MVC 4 default sites.css and kendoui's CSS-es.
I'm using 2012.1.322 kendoui version.

I would rather have my users wait a couple of seconds for the page to load, than show all the components and have the browsers load the sprites and background images. i.e. the "flash of unstyled text" but only for images.

Is there any way you guys can forcibly pre-fetch all kendo images (maybe by creating invisible <img /> tags) so that the images would've been cached, and the UI appears instantly, even for people through slow connections

maybe, you can make this optional - because it will be useful for people using a lot of kendo elements on the page - when compared to the people using it as a minor portion.

I would love to do:
kendo.preload(function()
{});

For an example, check the Yahoo weather app on iOS. Click (i) to add/remove/reorder locations.

For another example, check the Yahoo stocks app on iOS. Click (i) to add/remove/reorder stocks

Please consider implementing a Multiselect control similar to how this jQuery plugin, Chosen, works. Look at their Multiple select and Multiple select with <optgroup> examples:

We have been migrating from using the RadControls for ASP.NET Ajax to the Kendo UI suite, and have found the controls very useful.
However there appears to be a slight discrepancy between the parsing capabilities of the two libraries.

eg.
http://demos.kendoui.com/web/datepicker/index.html
http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/calendar/examples/datepicker/custompopup/defaultcs.aspx

If you type 1-1 in the RadControl demo, this is correctly parsed as 1-Jan-2012
If you type this in the KendoUI demo, this is not parsed correctly

It would be great to have the same flexibility of parsing of the dates as per the RadControls?

Add optional scrolling to Chart like Telerik RadChart Scrolling:
http://www.telerik.com/help/silverlight/radchart-features-zooming-and-scrolling.html

And/Or add a paging feature to the Line Chart that allows the user to page from right to left through data. Use the paging feature of the datasource to allow huge datasets to be viewed in increments (querying pages of data for the chart as the user pages from right to left) for performance. For example, if a years worth of hourly data is requested, page by month through the chart and query the data from the datasource one month at a time. This could work nicely with a grid configured for paging using the same datasource to display the data and chart in sync on the page.

Add better namespace support
in the form of an include or using statement file for
ease of code resuse. (Key word there is Ease)

import Kendo.UI.widget;
import Kendo.UI.validation;
import MyAwesomeClass.THX.Teleric.ILUVU.BYEBYE;

I'd sing your good deeds across the land if you did that.

Probably a looong shot but I vote for prefixing all Kendo functions with simply "k" instead of "kendo". All CSS class names (and Telerik MVC Extensions) simply use "k" (or "t") and that would be great if the rest of the framework followed this approach...

 if I want make my custom header (image, few rows, others) I can't do it - I need to write "title:false" and to come up the implementation of title in content.

I propose to add a few lines in the code to be able to customize header:

1. To templates:
	templates = {
		...
		existtitlebar: template(
			"<div class='k-window-actions k-header'>" +
				"# for (var i = 0; i < actions.length; i++) { #" +
					"#= action({ name: actions[i] }) #" +
				"# } #" +
			"</div>"
		),
		...
	};
2. To function "createWindow(element, options)":
	instead of "if (options.title !== false) wrapper.append(templates.titlebar(extend(templates, options)));"
	next:
		if (options.title !== false) {
			var header = contentHtml.find(KWINDOWTITLEBAR);
			if (header.length == 0) wrapper.append(templates.titlebar(extend(templates, options)));
			else wrapper.append(header.append(templates.existtitlebar(extend(templates, options))).detach());
		}

And if I write:
<div id="window">
	<header class="k-window-titlebar"><img src="some_image.png"/> Test header</header>
	Content of the Window
</div>
...
$(document).ready(function() {
	$("#window").kendoWindow();
});

I get next (ex.):
<div class="k-widget k-panel" style="padding-top: 26px; ">
	<header class="k-window-titlebar k-header" style="margin-top: -26px; ">
		<img src="some_image.png"/> Test header
		<div class="k-window-actions k-header"></div>
	</header>
	<div id="window" data-role="window" class="k-window-content k-content">
		Content of the Window
	</div>
</div>

P.S. Possible the content of "header" should be placed in "span class='k-window-title'". In this case the new template is not needed. Only override "options.title" in "createWindow".

I want Hyperlink to Pie Chart Label... using custom templates I did that but some browser does not support hyperlink tag inside the SVG <text> tag.

Please let me know how do I do that....

also I want to suggest you that add new event double click in kendoChart like seriesClick...

Thanks,
Amol.

The grid should be able to have columns added/removed as needed when the data source and columns change. Currently, the grid must be recreated from scratch, which is tedious. This is especially difficult if you want to preserve state of widgets that might be in the grid's toolbar.

A container where we can open anyfile (i.e. doc, pdf, msg, xls,ppt,jpg, gif)

Native mobile controls can show small clear icon which is shown only when something is typed in the input control (see address bar or search bar in iOS). Some sites (e.g. google.com) also implement this behavior.
Please add this behavior to Kendo input controls. For example, it can be activated by data-clearable attribute or something like this.

Allow parameters to be passed to Actionsheet callback functions. I have a need for a varying number of Actionsheet actions based on data-driven settings. I can dynamically populate the Actionsheet with jscript, but each action has to call a different callback function. What I'd rather do is have each action call the same callback function and just pass an ID of the selected option to that function. For example, I am using the ActionSheet to present the user with a list of places they can route the current record. I don't need a different function for each place they can route it - just the ID of their selection.

Native mobile tabstrips each have have their own set of views and history per tab. So for example if you are doing work on one tab, then click another tab, returning back to the first will show everything as it was before leaving.

kendo mobile's tabstrip doesn't work that way. Clicking on another tab destroys the content in the previous tab. It should not do that! Rather, it should mimic the behavior of a native tabstrip.

If we have a flow of 3 steps. A1 -> A2 -> A3 -> B1 I want to be able to hit back and go to A1. This is currently not allowed and we must construct flows based upon views that have to be linear forward and back. I want to be linear forward but go back differently.

I don't know what parameters the plugin sends to the server side.. in the grid for example there are parameters for pagination. I need to know how should I implement the PHP/Java code.
