In window widget I create links and buttons. On pc system it's work correct. But on mobile devices (just like iPad or Nexus 7), these click events is so hard to touch. Other click events outside the window widget is easy to click(the same links or the same buttons).
As discussed here: http://www.kendoui.com/forums/framework/mvvm/min-max-bindings-for-datepicker-and-timepicker.aspx Provide a way to bind the minimum and maximum dates to a model, so that changing the model changes the min and max dates. This would be useful in creating a date range selector where the start date must be prior to the end date.
Allow multiple header lines in the grid - eg two header lines first line contains four columns the next eight. The first col provides a visual grouping to the second header
We just want to update/edit the Mysql data. Is there any possibilities to do this type of job in Kendo Editor. Please provide me suitable help on it.
I have seen a few different samples on how to implement a dynamic skin chooser for Kendo UI Web, but I think this would be a great UI control to be added to the suite itself. None of the code samples I have found are simply drop in and use, but require slight modifications.
For example, when the autocomplete list appears or disappears, the entire page flickers to black for an instant. This happens roughly 50% of the time for me. I disabled all my extensions and that didn't help.
Excellent work, I think (one/two way) form data binding with JSON/XML serialization will be very helpful. Templates are good but need to support attribute based data binding expressions without templates.
Problem: the same CSS classes are used for styling of different widgets, hence when they nest, styles interfere. Example: MultiSelect in a Grid column filter. The filter form is placed in the column menu and menu item styling (.k-filter-menu .k-button) is propagated to all k-buttons in it, including MultiSelect's selected item tags that are also k-buttons and have styling with lower specificity. Solution: Use additional CSS classes for specific styling. That is .k-button is Ok for generic styling (color, border, hovers), and another, say .k-item-tag and .k-menu-item, for widget specific (margin, width etc.)
I've been using the kendo.all.d.ts TypeScript definitions file from the beginning. While its quality has increased significantly overtime, it continues to have a lot of errors and omissions. I understand the Kendo UI TS definitions file is generated from the Kendo UI documentation. So the quality of the TS definitions file is only ever going to be as good as the documentation. And that's where the errors and omissions come from. Not everything is documented or documented correctly. I think the best Kendo UI TS definitions file can only be created when the Kendo UI source code itself is migrated to TS. Now that TS version 1.0 has RTM'ed it is time to do this. Spend an entire release doing this if you have to. Who knows how many bugs TS may expose and help to fix.
The hover in grid has to be on entire row/item, not only in frozen/normal side, as it is now. Office 365 & Nova theme have default support for item hover, but this does not work properly when having frozen columns.
Can we have an option where the TabStrip tabs overflow to a dropdown just like the ToolBar items overflow when re-sized instead of wrapping tab items to another line This would work great on small factor tablets/phones
The .value() function on the Editor control strips out some elements from the Editor HTML. For instance, tables created in the Editor have a BR tag inside the table cells, but those BR tags are removed from the string returned by .value(). In order to display HTML exactly the same as it appears in the Editor, it would be useful to have an additional function, perhaps call it .rawValue(), that does not strip out these elements. For instance, with the BR example, if a row does not have any content the row will collapse without the BRs, so it would be nice to have an additional function that leaves them in.
