The following js exception is thrown: VM187678 kendo.all.min.js:114 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'loaded' of undefined
Navigation occurs without an exception.
Fails silently. The folder disappears from both views.
The renamed folder is shown as renamed in the TreeView, but the ListView or GridView hangs.
If I'm doing something wrong, an example of proper back-end error handling would be helpful.
The example fails with error:
Error: Error! The requested URL returned 0 - error at line 114
It's also unclear whether "tree" is a 3rd view in parallel to "list" and "grid" as the drop-down on https://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/filemanager/api would suggest (and if that is the case, how to enable this as an option in the toolbar) or whether it relates to the treeView of folders on the side.
I was wandering around on the internet for the responsiveness of the Kendo UI menu but didn't get success, even I read your forum, someone has posted about this, but you have written that we have not created responsive menu yet.
Please see the attached screenshot
Please create your menu responsive as we need to use in our application.
I'd like the ability to choose the behavior of mutli-row selection on a virtual grid with persisted selection.
For purpose of example, assume we have a virtual grid with 50 rows (pager controls not shown), a page size of 10, and persisted selection.
1. Select row 1 on page 1.
2. Scroll down to trigger page 2 to load (rows 11-20).
3. Select row 11, page 2.
4. Current Behavior: Both row 1 and row 11 remain selected.
5. Desired Behavior: Only row 11 remains selected.
Reasoning: I believe that a virtual scrolling grid should have selection behavior identical to a single page. That means that the only way to add rows to the selection is holding down control/shift during selection. In other words, on page 1 of the above example, if I select row 1, then row 2, only row 2 remains selected. If I select row 1, then Ctrl+click/Shift+click row 2, both remain selected. For virtual scrolling where multiple pages are displayed fluidly as if a single page, it seems odd to have the selection behave differently.
Hi Kendo support team,
I found a bug (or at least an undesired behavior) in the Kendo Multiselect widget.
After initialization the options in the existing select seem to be rebuilt receiving the content as value attribute if it did not exist before.
During this process potentially existing double spaces are replaced with single spaces (see attached image).
If the options of that select are replaced later, they will keep double spaces.
We use the selected values to receive content from the database, which in these cases is not possible anymore.
Since the content of the database is created by our client, we can't guarantee there might not be any double spaces.
In general I think that the content of the existing options should not be modified in any way.
See the following dojo to reproduce the behavior: https://dojo.telerik.com/oGEcaDoN
Currently, users are unable to access the footer of the calendar in the DatePicker and the Calendar itself using the keyboard.
Please improve the accessibility of the widget so it can be navigated with the keyboard and read by screen readers.
When the text of a drawer item contains multiple words, the hidden class is not removed.
Reproduction of the problem
Open and run this dojo
Notice the second item text is "My Notifications".
Click on the second item
Drawer content is not displayed
On click of an item with multiple words, the drawer content is not displayed
On click of an item with multiple words, the drawer content should be displayed.
A possible solution could be the removal of spaces:
e.sender.drawerContainer.find("#drawer-content").find("#" + e.item.find(".k-item-text").text().replace(" ","")).removeClass("hidden");
Kendo UI version: 2019.3.1023
I have tested this on your example for local data grid. It can be applicable also for remote grid, treelist, etc.
The error "TypeError: Cannot read property 'type' of undefined" is thrown
Some error should be thrown, but one that the developer can recognize and handle appropriately.
Your example of persisting state saves it in localStorage. Say my user saves the state on Monday, and by Tuesday, a column is removed, renamed, has a different type... I need to handle that user's deprecated saved state.
We have an issue with the combobox widget on chrome for android v77.0..
You can see the demo here https://dojo.telerik.com/aroMevIy.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Run the example in Dojo on chrome for android v77.0.3865.92
2. Scroll down to an item that was not initially visible and select it
The result is that nothing is selected.
From debugging we saw that the change event on the widget is not fired.
p.s. the Additional Information Version dropdown doesn't have version 2018.1.221 as an option
I've selected a version on which the bug is fixed!!!
We are currently in the process of converting our site from using RadAjax controls into Kendo UI controls. We use a lot of drop downs (single select and multi select). While working with the Kendo UI controls, we saw that there were no multi select drop down controls available. There is a multi select control, however it uses a 'token' style and is not a control that we can use in our environment. There should be a multi select drop down control similar to the control used in RadAjax framework.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Run the dojo, let the comobox list load and let it select the default item ('Oulu' in this case).
2. start typing 'Madrid' in the input field of the combobox.
3. press Tab key and observe behavior.
We need the ability to merge grid rows with the same values (see attached). This is a feature our customers have come accustom to with our Windows UI and the Developer Express toolkit. I understand I can manipulate the rowTemplate to achieve similar results but it is my understanding this will cause issues with row selection, editing, etc... Is this something that can be introduced in the future?
