Screen readers should announce that the column headers are links that can be used to sort the table
When using a screenreader in navigate mode the grid does not announce that the column headers are links that can be used to sort the table.  There are aria-label tags added when a grid grouping function is active (like the demo at https://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/grid/keyboard-navigation), but there is no aira-label text to indicate the sorting behavior.

Hi Ahmed,

We are constantly improving the accessibility features of all Kendo UI components but I cannot say when this one will be implemented.

I can see that you've voted for the current feature request and this is what you can do to speed-up its implementation. The more votes a given feature request has the bigger the chance for its sooner implementation is. You can follow the current feature request and once there is a change in it status, you will be notified about it.

Regards,
Petar

we are also looking for the same feature. When the sorting happens, it does not announce how it has sorted (ascending or descending).
