Hi,

I would like to have a feature from kendo sortable to select multiple items in a list and drag it to the other side of list.

Currently we do have feature only to move single item or the entire group to move across list.

I would like to have more customized way to have selected items in a list to move across from one end to another.

Please find the screenshot below

Provide an example demonstrating, how to persist the state of a grid using grouped columns.

This component is AWESOME! One thing missing is it doesn't fit on mobile at all. It needs to break vertically on smaller devices.

momentjs is a widely used date library which makes handling dates much more comfortable, and all Date components should support it

Kendo Angular PDF is currently has good functionality to export/download as PDF. My Idea is that , if Kendo can extend its PDF export functionality with print also.

Problem - Currently using kendo PDF download, the GRID or any HTML component looks good to the users. But the same Grid if the user want to print , then the developers has to use some third party scripts to generate the print object and do the print. still its not appears as good as it appears in PDF. so the end users are complaining why the PDF export and the print is different in look and feel.

Here are the steps to overcome.
1. should have a print PDF functionality which opens the PDF into new window.
2. the user has the option to download or print the pdf using PDF in-built options.
3. Kendo to provide fix to open in new window for all browsers ( IE, chrome, firefox etc)
4. Kendo print should not send the request to underline printer or any other hardware device.

Every drag and drop library I have used in the past support a handle option, meaning that the drag of an item only occurs if the the user has clicked on a specific child element of the item. Normally this option's value is a selector.

<kendo-sortable [data]="tracksData" [handle]="#headerBar">
    <template let-trackData="item">
        <track [tempo]="trackData.tempo"></track>
    </template>
</kendo-sortable>

Where #headerBar is the selector of an indirect or direct child element of TrackComponent.

I don't see how this can be achieved with the current API, but perhaps I'm wrong.

Here are 2 examples of an API for a handle option:
- jQuery UI
- dragula

The fromDate method of the kendo-intl package allows to use a skeleton format to provide a generic mask that is applied to the current locale.
It would be great to get this functionality for the format string of the date-inputs to gain the possibility to define a locale independent format.
E.g yMMMM will show year and month with respect to the current locale.

To change the topView or bottomView property I have to set the value as string. E.g. topView="month". To be typesave I like to use the CalendarViewEnum in my typescript code. When I bind the enum in the view, the enum-value is set.
But unfortunately the enum value is a number and not a string.
I must convert the enum value like:

public getBottomView(): string {
     return CalendarViewEnum[this._bottomView];
}

Live would be easier if string enums would be used.

It would be great if toolbar buttons allowed title attributes so we could provide more context to buttons.

Similar to bootstrap btn-success, btn-danger, etc there should be different styling themes for buttons and other components.

It would be nice to have access to a selectionChange event in the autocomplete similar to the other dropdowns. This way when binding against arrays of complex objects, we could receive the whole object selected instead of the single value property out of it.

Currently keyboard navigation in Multiselect is a bit limited in comparison to the same functionality in Multiselect in Kendo UI for jQuery.

It would be great if the shortcuts in Multiselect in Kendo for Angular matched shortcuts in Multiselect in Kendo UI for jQuery.

Add the RowTemplate feature of JQuery Grid to Angular Grid.

https://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/grid/rowtemplate

In particular we are looking to be able to define 2 rows of data per row. The second has cells that span multiple columns so we are unable to achieve what we want with a Cell Template ( https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/grid/columns/templates/ ).

It would be very important to customize keyboard navigation for autocomplete? Some users are used to different navigation than default.

https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/dropdowns/autocomplete/keyboard-navigation/

For example I would like select highlighted item by pressing "Tab" not "Enter".

It is difficult to move a column beyond the columns that are currently visible without using the horizontal scroll. So as column are listed in the drop down it would be good to be able to reorder here.

Could also implement the auto scrolling of the horizantal scroll when moving column beyond the visible scroll. Both would be good.
