We are trying to scroll treeview to item that should be selected after page load (and tree automatic expand). Provide a built-in way to scroll to a programmatically selected item.

In the TimePicker (and other Date Input controls) you can in the input field use the arrow keys or mousewheel to go endless through the options. E.g. for minutes you can go directly from 00 to 59 using the down arrow. Especially with large ranges like minutes this is handy.

But in the popup you can't do that. It would be nice that the user can scroll directly from 00 to 59, 58 and so on. See composed image below.
(This should not be done when there are less options than the size of the popup, else you whould get duplicate options visible. That would be confusing for the user.)

Would be a usefull feature, especially when using this control on touch devices.

Currently the grid uses indexes to memorize which data row is expanded. When a new row is inserted (due to a new data item inserted in the underlying collection) before a currently expanded details row, then then expanded details view will shift to the row before (old index). This is not desirable in a scenario with a lot of adding/removing of items.
It would be great if memorizing expanded details row could be bound to the data object.

Add events like detailInit, detailExpand, detailCollapse in the Kendo Grid for jQuery. Add possibility to know whether the detail template is expanded or not.

When you implement the activeViewDateChange and scroll through the calendar, the event is properly triggered.

But when you navigate through the calendar using the month navigation, this event is only triggered(multiple times) when you skip at least 1 month

Sample code - Kendo event sample code: https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/dateinputs/calendar/#toc-events

Scenario:

Current month: Januari

Next month: Februari

Expectation: (activeDateChange: 1-2-2020)

Result: - / not triggered

Current month: Januari

Next month: June

Expectation: (activeDateChange: 1-6-2020)

Result: (activeDateChange - 1-5-2020), (activeDateChange - 1-6-2020) / event triggered twice

Hi,

I set start = year and depth = year.

I know that regarding documentation:

Note the option will not be applied if start option is lower than depth. Always set both start and depth options. In order to be able to select dates for the range you need to set the depth to month.

Is it possible to select range with months? I would like to select range for instance from Oct 2019 to Jan 2020. How it can be implemented using DateRangePicker ?

Thanks.

I found a bug in your last update in this package:

https://www.npmjs.com/package/@progress/kendo-angular-dialog

The bug causes the modal not to show up.

In this bug you need to allways start the HTML files with the tag <kendo-dialog> and end the files </kendo-dialog> to fix the problem, which did not happen in previous versions of the package.

This bug is an issue because not even your tutorials work because of this.

Will you fix this?

Best regards André Lourenço

Hello team,

Could you please assist me with gaining understanding of implementation of the drag and drop Angular feature together with your grid?

I need to implement the following scenarios:

1. D'n'd between 2 Kendo grids in different components
2. D'n'd between Kendo grid and custom list in separate component
3. D'n'd in scope of the same Grid.

Lets say I have Angular of the 8th version and the latest version of Kendo Angular Grid.

It would be very cool if you can update your documentation with the corresponding page.
If that doesn't make sense from your perspective I would appreciate if you could provide me detailed instruction for all the above scenarios implementations.

Thank you in advance.

Steps to reproduce:

Create fresh angular 9+ project : ng new angular9-kendo-editor-test

run cmd to add editor module: ng add @progress/kendo-angular-editor

Add config to serve es5 generated scripts so IE will work: https://medium.com/better-programming/how-to-fix-your-angular-app-when-its-not-working-in-ie11-eb24cb6d9920

run cmd to serve es5 config: ng serve --configuration es5

Open IE and browse to http://localhost:4200

Open developer tools, observe there is a script error

Comment out the EditorModule import in app.module.ts and you can see the app now works...

Hello,

Currently, the kendo theme for bootstrap overrides the default bootstrap custom component styles.

For example, the kendo checkbox has a default #FFF background but the bootstrap custom checkbox has a grey-ish background, which is always the same as the disabled style.

$custom-control-indicator-bg <--- this should be #FFF

Could this be changed back to the default bootstrap values?

Hi Telerik,

Is there way to have more configuration options on chart series DashTypes? For example, we'd like to use just dash (no dot), but with the capability of configuring how long the solid/white parts are. Currently, we are limited to 2 options: dash and longDash. We'd like to have more, e.g.,

1, _________  ____________  _____________

2, ______  _______  _______  _______  _______

3, ___  ___  ___  ___  ___  ___  ___  ___  ___

4, __  __  __  __  __  __  __  __  __  __  __  __

Hi,

On the kendo-multiviewcalendar the 'activeViewDateChange' is not triggered, at all.

We need this event for our date range selection to update certain data. But without this event, it's impossible.

Is this a missing feature or a bug as almost every other date component has this event.

Hi Team

It would be very helpful if Grid allow to prevent focus on cell out-of-box, at the moment, we have to handle focusin event then set focus to other cell, however when using navigation keys or shortcut key, we need to handle differently depend on which cell should be focus next.

Reproduction

- Use a grid with data coming from a service (or another source)

- Click the delete button (built in with the grid

It removes the element from the grid as soon as I click the button but I want to remove it only after confirming the deletion.

Hello!

My team has identified a need for a sticky header on the scheduler.  Essentially when scrolling down through a large scheduler, we would like an option for the header to be "sticky" or remain visible atop the scheduler as you scroll.  We are unsure how difficult this would be, but allowing users to retain the resource reference regardless of how far they scroll would be very helpful!!!  If this is not descriptive enough please feel free to let me know, and I can find some examples!

Thank you!

-Eric Reed

1. Change scheduler timezone in combobox

2. Change view selector to "Month", for example.

Result: provided colors from resources aren't appied anymore.

Hello,

The PDF export component does not seem to handle tables that are in the editor content. In the Stackblitz example I included, which is based off of the PDF export demo under the Editor component, the table borders do not show in the editor and in the exported PDF. In my own practice, any editor version 8 and above will not export the tables to PDF. In fact, the exported PDF is blank no matter what is in the editor. Here is what I am using. When I change the editor version to 0.7.0, the PDF export works (albeit without table support). I would like to be able to export the tables that inside of the editor's content to PDF. This problem only started happening after I updated my editor to versions 0.8.0 and above.

<kendo-pdf-export #pdf paperSize="Letter" margin="1cm" [scale]="scale">
