We recently had an ask to limit the number of columns that could be selected, and were not able to find an out of the box solution (nor was support).
Something like this would be great, which is the same implementation as the kendoGridFilterMenuTemplate which allows you to override just the content of the column chooser, and not have to manually create your own menu entry by overriding the whole kendoGridColumnMenuTemplate
<ng-template kendoGridColumnChooserMenuTemplate let-service="service"> <our-custom-chooser-component></our-custom-chooser-component> </ng-template>
or, alternatively, if we were able to specify a grid parameter for a max number of columns as a grid level [maxColumns], that would work as well.
I would like to know if there is any CAPTCHA control that can be used within Angular. I came across the following link:
but in that link it is using ASP.NET so we would like to know if there is a way we could call this from our Angular Project.
Please let us know.
Thanks and Regards,
The toolbar component works perfectly for our application header requirements. But: the default styles (here material theme with grey background and drop shadow) does not make sense. While it's not a problem to work around it...
Please allow us to add custom CSS classes to toolbar component. Example:
I have experience creating column groups at the top of a kendo grid, but I would now like to do something similar with row groups. I have attached a screenshot of an example of what I would like to accomplish. Is this possible with Kendo Grid?
Could you please migrate Kendo UI Spreadsheet from jQuery version to Angular?
Spreadsheet control as a separate component, or Grid control updated for AutoCOmplete and drag fill capabilities
We encountered a problem when using kendo-sortable component in IE11. If we use this component anywhere on the page, all input fields on the page become unclickable. It seems to happen in the last version of this control (maybe because of a global click event listener? )
Hope you can help with this issue.
You can check out the following Stackblitz example which is based on your basic usage example: https://angular-t7vi5k.stackblitz.io/
Thanks in advance and happy holidays,
When both virtual scrolling and grouping are enabled via the kendoGridGroupBinding directive, and the Grid is
navigable, focus is trapped in the header row when down or up arrow is pressed:
Focus any content cell
Press up/down - focus goes to the header cell of the respective column and is trapped in the header row
On a feedback portal search and paging is not working.
Open feedback portal and enter search criteria with more then five item. example
When you want to view result for second page, search is not preserved (it is empty).
The example does not work:
I want to filter the scheduler data but I had to add the OwnerId property to the node package interface in order to be able to do so... yet the sample data provided in the examples does include the ownerId, so im guessing all that needs to be done is to add it to the interface.
Currently, the auto resize of the the columns does not take the width of the grid into account. I don't think this is how most users would expect this to work. The autofit of the columns should be able to resize the columns so that they work as best they can within the grid's bounds. Now, when I autofit my columns, the first thing I have to do is resize the columns manually so I can see the whole row on the screen. Since I end up resizing the columns manually anyway, autofit ends up not really helping me much. Some toolkits I have used have a resize mode for a table which determines whether or not all columns are to always be visible or not. If all the columns are to always be visible, resizing one column needs to resize the others so that everything still fits. This "mode" could determine which algorithm autofit should use
