The use case that we would like to cover is as follows.

1. Open an image in Paint.

2. Select a region and copy it.

3. Paste into the editor.

4. The image should be displayed in the editor.

It should, however, be encoded similar to the way that Kendo Grid for jQuery does to produce something like this.

<img src="data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAA...vwAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==" />

Note that the image is not hosted remotely at some URL, but rather is included inline within the body.

I'm seeking support here to lock kendo angular grid column separately. As I can see that, all locked columns are in a div and unlocked are in another div. Is there any possibility to lock some columns are in left and some are in right? Attaching my design requirement here for more info.

Using Kendo Window UI, we want to create multiple windows within a page where they can be free floating or dockable as tabs. Attaching an image of how it would look when it is free floating.

Please support out of the box support for modality. I know there is how to, but out of the box, for such basic feature seems reasonable.

Also suggested how to doesn't work for windows initialised through service.

This would also align Angular Window component with KendoUI Window component modality.

When using the "checkBy" attribute to configure the data field for the key definition, then the indeterminate state of parent nodes is broken.

To reproduce the issue have a look to this StackBlitz: https://stackblitz.com/edit/angular-okpokx

I would like to move dialog (because there is some content behind I need to see in order to fill form in dialog).

It would also be great if it could be resizable. If you have an input component inside dialog, you could set width to 100%.

Placeholder for dropdownlist could be a great thing, because defaultItem not have the same use. I just want to show text when nothing is select, but I do not want that the dropdownlist have nothing selected (or the defaultItem) when we have already selected an item. The defaultItem can be selected again and it is not the same use of placeholder.

Thanks for reading.

We are heavily relying on the use of RegEx masks and the MaskAutoComplete functionality in the Telerik Silverlight components. Currently we are completly rebuilding out application with Telerik Angular 2+ so we are missing this functionality.

For instance what we are trying to achieve is:

- force First letter upper case in lastname after every space in the name. (Silverlight --> Mask="([A-Z]\.)+" MaskType="RegEx" MaskAutoComplete="Optimistic")

- initials all uppercase and automaticly place a . after every letter (Silverlight --> Mask="([A-Z][a-z]+)((\s|\-)[A-Z][a-z]+)*" MaskType="RegEx" MaskAutoComplete="Optimistic")

If there is another way to achieve this in Angular 2+ with the current components that is also fine but I cannot find a way in the documentation.

While using the kendo upload for multiple uploads, all the uploads happen simultaneously. We are looking for solution by which, though the files are added in bulk, the backend call should happen one by one or sequential. To elaborate my point, Lets say I happen to select 3 files, I would want the upload of file 2 to happen only when file 1 upload is over (successful or error), and file 3 to upload after 2 is over and so on.Lets say while two is uploading, I should be able to add file 4. But fie 4 will begin only after file 3 is over.

As the panel bar seems to support it it would be appreciable to have support for routes in the tabstrip component.

Hello,

I would like to request a way to have the selected/unselected column menu sorted separately from the table's columns.

Here is our table which demonstrates the current behavior.

When first rendered on the page:

After re-arranging the columns:

However, it'd be nice to have the column menu sorted separately from the table's columns. Thank you.

Is there a plan to release Diagram component for Angular? I am looking at converting Silverlight application into Angular that used the diagram compoment. Diagram is missing. I can see other third-party vendor providing this component.

For now, notifications can be closable OR automatically hide after some time.

When talking about error notifications we want to show them for a longer time (let's say 10 seconds) to ensure, users see them. The problem is, that notifications may hide content and it would be cool, if users could manually close them after reading.

Feature request:

Allow notifications that support BOTH properties set:

  • hideAfter AND
  • closable

    public show(): void {
        this.notificationService.show({
            ...
            type: { style: 'error', icon: true },
            closable: true,
            hideAfter: 10000
        });
    }

Meaning: Hide notifications after 10 secs but allow users to close them earlier.

Current behavior: https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/notification/hiding-notifications/#toc-defining-a-closable-notification

Hi,

we want to build your fine conversational UI into our product? The idea in the first iteration is to use it to render message threads between different users. This means that we need to be able to track which messages the user has seen/read to provide a counter/badge with the number of unread messages. Do you have any examples showing something like that? Could you possibly give us a hint about how to achieve something like that with your API?

Thanks,

Anders

In Version 74.0.3729.108 (official Build) (64-Bit) of chrome, a defined grid with no predefined style property does not scroll properly.

There is a live-demo on Stackblitz at https://stackblitz.com/edit/angular-b38r7s-jzsgty

This is a fork of the demo example from the kendo-angular-ui documentation available at

https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/grid/scroll-modes/virtual/#

In the example, the scrollable grid was defined with a height property. This does not feet to our requirements, as we need a grid component that should flex according to the outside or parent container.

This problem occured after the update of chrome browser from 73.0.XXX to the version 74.0.3729.108

The problem is fixed when we defined a grid with a height property like [style.height.%] = “100” but according to the documentation the grid should flex automatically without this property.

Use IE11:

1. Try to use the grids column menu for filtering

2. Click the column icon => popdown menu opens

3. Click the filter oder column icon inside the menu => nothing happens

I can't even open up your docs using IE11, it just loads forever:
