In continuation of https://www.telerik.com/account/support-tickets/view-ticket/1447763. Requesting a feature to grid rows merge like below example,
We could really do with a file explorer, I believe this is already available in your JQuery suite and is planned for .NET Core.
Syncfusion have already implemented an angular file explorer which can use Azure Blob Storage as a backend (though other backends are also available).
In fact the syncfusion file explorer is based on your own component. After some digging around looking for a similar solution I found their design document for the component which directly refers to the Telerik's own components. You may want to consider contacting syncfusion on this because it appears to me that they may have breached your copyright.
I would like have "Format Painter" or "Copy Format" in the Editor.
Currently there is no "Format Painter" or similar option available for Editor.
I hope Editor enhancement feature you will add into your plan near future.
Many of my users complain that when clicking the the time component in the "empty" space, the focus is automatically set to the minutes area.
See image for example (clicking where the arrow is pointing).
This is very confusing for them and causes them to make a lot of mistakes.
Is it possible to disable this behavior?
Using a line chart, using date in the category axes, it will be useful to use the format "week number".
See your example: https://47hbw1.run.stackblitz.io
It doesn't look available from this list: https://github.com/telerik/kendo-intl/blob/develop/docs/date-formatting/index.md
As I explained in this post, I would like to set max-width on certain columns of a grid to force them to not becoming bigger than a certain size if there is a remaining width in the parent container. However, I do need to distribute the remaining width across other columns if they don't have max-width.
For example in this project https://stackblitz.com/edit/max-width-request?embed=1&file=app/app.component.ts, I want the first column which shows the ID of products would never be bigger than 15. I'm advised to leave one of the columns without setting width, so that column will occupy the remaining width and as a result the width of columns with width will be respected as max-width. However, that is not good because in big screens you will end up with a very big column while other columns are still suffering from lack of space.
On grid with 50 rows and 100 columns, autoFitColumns method freezes browser and annoying "Page unresponsive" is shown to the user. Please make function responsive.
Based on high Chrome CPU usage I think method could be ran in background thread. Probably Web workers would be appropriate for this task. This may help.
I would like to know if there is any CAPTCHA control that can be used within Angular. I came across the following link:
but in that link it is using ASP.NET so we would like to know if there is a way we could call this from our Angular Project.
Please let us know.
Thanks and Regards,
We would like to use the Angular DatePicker with Fast Navigation Bar style and would like to change the height and width of the monthly view to expand to the size of the device and show multiple months.
After communicating with support we learned this was not currently possible so we are requesting it be added as a feature.
This is going into a mobile application and we would like to use all of the screen to display a calendar control. If it helps to understand conceptually, it would be similar to the Apple Calendar, on Apple Devices, with a few differences but having the months span the entire screen.
We are looking for a calendar control to work in a mobile app written with Angular and using Cordova to deploy as a native application. Since it's a mobile app, it will need to work on a variety of different devices and we want the user experience to be the same for all.
We are implementing something similar to the Apple Calendar. It will have a weekly view at the time, implemented with an in-house control, and clicking on the Month's Name in the top left will open the monthly view which is where we were hoping to use the Telerik control.
We would like the calendar view to fit to the viewport so you do not see any of the app behind the calendar. If in Portrait view, it should be responsive in width but not display any additional data. It's height should expand to see additional weeks, or months if there's enough room.
We don't know exactly what we'll do for Landscape view yet. One thought is that it should be responsive in height but not display more than one month vertically. It should expand in width displaying additional months if the entire month can fit in the viewport. The latter scenario is open to design changes. It could also be implemented similarly to Landscape view.
I would like to allow users to sort single and multiple at the same time.
This could be achieved by adding another option to SortSettings: Single | Multiple | SingleShiftMultiple. The name is not the best proposal, but describes desired behaviour:
By default when user click column, previous sort is cleared and new is applied. But if user holds down shift key, new sort is added to SortDescriptor (current behaviour for multiple).
FR displaying long labels
If the labels are long, having all displayed below or on top of the slider would result in a messy layout.
Instead an option to place every odd item to the top and every even item (label) on the bottom would allow for longer texts
Furthermore missing in documentation:
The [title] input won't work without setting [largeStep] as well.
Furthermore missing in documentation:
The callback to the [title] input has to be a fat-arrow function,
or an extra patch is needed (as the UI component currently 2019/10/30) this.getStepLabelNotWorking = this.getStepLabelNotWorking.bind(this); as inside a classic function the this refers not to the class itself, but to the component. IMO this is a BUG! See: https://stackblitz.com/edit/kendo-angular-slider-steplabelsfn-this?file=app/app.component.ts
Need a circle packing bubble chart. In my application, I required to use one use case.
Please refer attached screenshot.
FYI We are using the below dependencies in our project.
