Since the client side filtering honours ignoreCase and the toOdatastring not, we got a difference in behaviour, so i'd like to report this as a BUG! With dropdowns I use: &$filter=contains(tolower(FieldName), tolower('" + searchString + "')) but for grid filtering a COLUMN BASED ignoreCase is a MUST!
Can you add property popupSettings with appendTo? Something similar is in kendo date picker: https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/dateinputs/api/PopupSettings/ It could be placed here https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/tooltip/api/TooltipDirective/ I placed this in Dialog category, but can you add category tooltip? Best regards, Paweł
In the jQuery version of the Angular Grid, it was possible to add row templates to a grid which was useful because you could set attributes directly to the tr. In my case, I have a scenario where I want to add a title attribute for tooltips for the whole row, not just individual cells. I can provide a function for rowClasses, which is great, but it would be nice if there was a similar function I could use to add other attributes as well directly to the tr. At the moment my work around is to add the title to every column individually, but that's not ideal as it affects the positioning of the tooltip etc
Currently, it is very difficult to get the Sortable to use Angular components as child items. It would be great if it supported this.
Multiple date picker, single date pick, date range pick. Please add all functionality in angular date component.
Hello Team, I would like to request for Card View Just like List View in Kendo UI Jquery. So that, users can interchange between kendo grid and card view. Also, I would like to have all the features provided by grid. EG: https://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/listview/editing
Suggestion: Make the 'select all' checkbox in the grid more intuitive for the user. When we combine virtuall scrolling and selection via checkboxes for the kendo grid the 'select all' checkbox in the header will only select rows which are already visible / paged in. This is of course because kendo does not yet now about the not yet paged in rows. On the other side this behavior is quiet unintuive for the user. The user does not know about page border and expects the select all checkbox to check all rows. The desired functionality could be realized by internally differentiating between two selection modes, one where the selected rows are are accessible via api (normal mode) and one where the deselected rows are accessible via api (mode where select all is enabled). This would increase the user experience.
The new calendar components is great, but it's missing a significant functionality, which has been available for a long time with the jquery calendar and users love. There are no arrows for navigating the calendar. The arrow buttons are much easier than keyboard page-up/page-down and the navigation bar. I realize there is very little space next to the Today button, but many users really need it.
Create a Overlay Component for Waiting Screens when you load Data from Backend Services, .... - With Flexible Loading Icon - Perhaps as ngRx Extension, - Inceting a service where you can just call ShowOverlay or HideOverlay, ...
It would be good to have an option for clear "X" or whatever on the DropDownList. This is already on the ComboBox but not on the DropDownList. I can see the argument that having a blank option as the first option in the popover would work but that requires the user to open the popover and click a blank entry and forces all lists to have a blank item. I'm currently getting around this by wrapping the kendo component in my own component and using css to put a clear button on the kendo control. However, there is no public access to the needed functions to clear the control and have the angular zone update when in an on push state (Not sure about normal change detection strategy but I only use on push so...). Right now I have to cast the component to type any and then use the private functions on the component. See below. Access to either the proper method to do what I'm doing or adding a native clear would be really great. Really for all controls. I would be happy with just the access to the proper functions as it allows me to customize when and how the clear shows. this is what I'm doing for now that gets what I want. this.dropDownList.reset(); const dropdown = this.dropDownList as any; dropdown.valueSubject.next(undefined);
There's currently no way to change the style of a dropdown button to match the other "looks" of a regular buttons like "bare", "outline", and "flat". It is important for a row of buttons to have the same look and feel. Please add "look" property to dropdown buttons.
Datepicker have choice for navigation bar with month instead of fullyear name for the first month in file : "node_modules\@progress\kendo-angular-dateinputs\dist\es\calendar\services\month-view.service.js" line 96, function "navigationTitle()" we can have a boolean to say: ' i want to display month name instead of fullYear for the first month' i don't want to do a monkeyPath to do this ;-) thx a lot
I'm looking at the samples of panel bar for Angular 2, I would like to set the orientation horizontal instead of vertical, I tried using the attribute orientation="horizontal", it does not seem to work, can you please advise ? Thanx
My suggestion for the Angular treeview is to expose a doubleClick event, as opposed to just the single click event (or the selection node event). This would help in preventing events from firing unless the user has double clicked a node (as an option).
There are many use cases of functions which need to run on keyup for a textbox. The most common use case is probably handling enter when the user is focused on the textbox and hits enter. Please create a keyup event emitter for the Textbox, MaskedTextBox and NumericTextBox components. NOTE: The dropdown for "Category" required to add this idea does not have "Inputs" as an option; the category "New Component" was selected instead.
Implement "Shift + Arrow Keys adds the row which holds the focused cell to the selection (only for selection mode "multiple")", explained here (https://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/grid/keyboard-navigation)
It's possible to assign class/styles to column groups, column heads, and cells, but not to the filter cells.
