It would be great if we can add Select All functionality as a built-in feature of the MultiSelect component. It is especially useful when working with checkboxes, e.g., https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/dropdowns/multiselect/templates/#toc-rendering-item-checkboxes.
On grid with 50 rows and 100 columns, autoFitColumns method freezes browser and annoying "Page unresponsive" is shown to the user. Please make function responsive.
Based on high Chrome CPU usage I think method could be ran in background thread. Probably Web workers would be appropriate for this task. This may help.
The grid component already has the functionality to resize and reorder columns by the user, but is missing functionality for saving an restoring columns configuration, so that changes done by the user are lost after a page change.
There is the Persist the State article in the "How to section" in the documentation, but the described solution is only applicable when adding grid columns by using *ngFor. When defining columns in the markup, due to extensive usage of templates (kendoGridColumnMenuTemplate, kendoGridFilterMenuTemplate, kendoGridCellTemplate, ..), there is no reasonable solution available.
Provide methods, similar to the jQuery grid, to save and restore columns configuration. This should at least include the column's order, width and sort.
PS: This is not a duplicate of the feature request Add persistent state for grid (and other components). The latter one has been marked as "Completed" but does not include the needed functionality.
We would like to be able to tab to elements with tooltips which would open the tooltip and be readable by screen readers such as JAWS, etc.
If a DatePicker input is set to not required and a user enters an incomplete date like 05/day/2018, the component does not recognize the value and the input is null. This behaviour is ok, the problem is, that no validation is triggered. In such a case, a validation error should be thrown such as "incomplete date" or "invalid", but nothing happens. To allow the form validation of an incomplete date, such a validation is needed.
The Toolbar was recently release with R2 2018. We were looking forward to this component but noted that the "Overflow" anchor property has not been implemented. This is the most compelling feature on the JQuery version. Can you revisit the toolbar code and add this feature?
There appear to be no decent solutions for PDF viewing in Angular in handling viewing of downloaded PDF files that works intelligently and consistently across all desktop and mobile browsers, and supports navigation, saving, and printing. 1. The Angular Kendo Report Viewer is limited to Telerik reports generated using the Telerik Report web infrastructure and doesn't handle PDFs from other sources. 2. There is an open source Angular viewer, that provides reasonable viewing and navigation, but doesn't support save to file. or print. https://github.com/VadimDez/ng2-pdf-viewer 3. Syncfusion have a very nice Angular PDF viewer, but requires buying there whole Angular suite. https://help.syncfusion.com/angular/pdfviewer/getting-started A Kendo Angular PDF Viewer Component
It should be possible to disable the user input on the Datepicker and the calendar pop-up only shows up if the user clicked on the "calendar button".
