we request the feature, to have the possiblity, to create a new event, by doing a slot click + dragging the mouse + release to create a new event.
Can we expect this feature or do you can suggest a workaround using existing functionality to get a similar functionality?
we have the need, to implement custom timeline views for the scheduler which shows a month and quarter timeline view.
This is currently not possible because the TimelineViewModule is not exporting the TimelineMultiDayViewComponent.
We request, to add this component to the exports and provide an updated dev version of the scheduler published to npm so that we can continue soon.
Hey Kendo Team,
you already have a solution in jQuery for my problem (https://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/knowledge-base/grid-group-remove-footer-header-one-record).
Unfortunately this solution did not work in Angular.
Desirable solution would be a flag in GroupHeaderTemplate which removes header if group size is one.
Another solution could be; allow a class field in GroupHeaderTemplate, so that we can set display to none if group size is one.
Modify the Kendo-recurrence-editor with the Frequency field. The current Kendo-recurrence-editor does not provide the flexibility of configuring an event multiple times in a day. For example, if there is a requirement to schedule an event twice a day, there is no way to do it.
Kendo Recurrence Editor -
Required Kendo Recurrence Editor(Frequency field added and it will be visible for all type of occurrence other than 'Never') -
Basically whats described in this issue right here: https://github.com/telerik/kendo-angular/issues/2093
It would be nice if column group visibility could be toggleable via the column chooser.
If not, a more elegant workaround would be to indicate in the column chooser that certain columns are part of column groups. The way it is now is too clunky and unclear.
For example, I have the following column groups:
But the above columns show up in the column chooser like so:
It would be nice if the column group name was at least prepended to child columns in the column chooser to at least indicate that it's part of a group. For example, it would show as follows instead:
[x] Latest read - Time
[x] Latest read - Value
[x] Latest write - Time
[x] Latest write - Value
Thanks so much.
Hello! My team has identified a need for an extended hours indicator for the scheduler, hopefully this is the correct place to put in a feature request! Essentially, my team would like the ability to indicate that appointments exist for the current day, but those appointments are outside of the standard set working hours and thus not shown on the scheduler. On the below screenshot of a different scheduler, an arrow is circled in red on the bottom. That arrow indicates that there is an appointment outside the current viewed schedule for that day. Would you be open to implementing a feature like this one day?
FR displaying long labels
If the labels are long, having all displayed below or on top of the slider would result in a messy layout.
Instead an option to place every odd item to the top and every even item (label) on the bottom would allow for longer texts
Furthermore missing in documentation:
The [title] input won't work without setting [largeStep] as well.
Furthermore missing in documentation:
The callback to the [title] input has to be a fat-arrow function,
or an extra patch is needed (as the UI component currently 2019/10/30) this.getStepLabelNotWorking = this.getStepLabelNotWorking.bind(this); as inside a classic function the this refers not to the class itself, but to the component. IMO this is a BUG! See: https://stackblitz.com/edit/kendo-angular-slider-steplabelsfn-this?file=app/app.component.ts
Please add a template about custom hierarchy cell template.
We have to add few icons in it and also before it and we would like to use angular native way.
As I explained in this post, I would like to set max-width on certain columns of a grid to force them to not becoming bigger than a certain size if there is a remaining width in the parent container. However, I do need to distribute the remaining width across other columns if they don't have max-width.
For example in this project https://stackblitz.com/edit/max-width-request?embed=1&file=app/app.component.ts, I want the first column which shows the ID of products would never be bigger than 15. I'm advised to leave one of the columns without setting width, so that column will occupy the remaining width and as a result the width of columns with width will be respected as max-width. However, that is not good because in big screens you will end up with a very big column while other columns are still suffering from lack of space.
As discussed with Martin in support ticket 1429284, some of the column values in my grid might be the same, but with different letter cases. For example, column "First Name" could have the values "Elias", "elias", and "ELIAS".
When grouping, Kendo grid grouping treats those values as 3 separate groups because its case sensitive. Our users expect those values to be grouped as 1 to avoid confusion.
The workaround provided might affect other dependent features and make the code a bit messy.
I would appreciate it if you could add in a future version, a built in option to ignore case when grouping without changing the original displayed values.
There is no event to cater mouse-over events for rows in k-grid. This is important if we need to perform something row specific.
We have a control that has been used in our Xamarin application for a few years now utilizing the RadRadialGaugeView with an inner and outer GaugeRadailBarIndicator. This has been used to display a dual value/color radial progress indicator.
We now have the need for this same control with the same layout, function, and coloring to exist on our newer Angular 8+ application.
Please provide the opportunity to create a multi-arc/radial gauge control through the Kendo UI for Angular library.
The calendar component is responding to scroll events, which is really cool and my users love it.
BUT, my users keep asking me why the scroll doesn't move in monthly intervals - Each time they scroll, they say they miss the current scope and it is hard for them to keep track of the current visible dates.
How can I set the calendar to jump in monthly intervals?
If you copy paste a hierarchical numbered bullet list from Microsoft Word into the Editor, it will initially appear correct.
However, if you then attempt to add a new bullet by adding a newline, there will not be a new bullet with the correct number added.
Instead, it will add a new line. See the attached screenshot for clarification.
Support hierarchical bullet lists pasted from Microsoft Word in Kendo for Angular Editor component.
