Server wrappers for JSF
I would like to see wrappers for Java Server Faces. The focus of Java EE development is on JSF and i.m.o. not on JSP. Look e.g at PrimeFaces (a lot of UI components). They are now developing as a spin off PrimeUI, a Javascript UI component library.

I agree too. JSP is deprecated and replaced by JSF.

We did a detailed research recently among Java Web developers which indicated that these devs are predominantly using either Spring MVC + JSP (or migrate from Struts to this combination), or switch to pure HTML/JS using Spring for generic page generation.

Due to this reason we don't see a viable opportunity or justification in developing server wrappers for JSF.

We could reconsider this decision if there's evidence you can share (based on research and validation) which proves otherwise.

Adding my agreement to this; JSP is not the preferred presentation standard for Java any longer. It's hard to recommend KendoUI for large Java software projects when it doesn't support the current presentation standard for Java (JSF). Version 2 of JSF has been in release for several years now; any idea when/if wrappers for it will be added to KendoUI?
