The problem here is that the Payload is compressed with DEFLATE.

https://fiddler.ideas.aha.io/ideas/FID-I-103 shows the workaround available for you to use today.

From www.redirect-checker.org/ and http://www.seoreviewtools.com/redirect-checker-tool/, I can see that e.g. https://www.lentillas.si/lentillas?tx=v is correctly 301ing to https://www.lentillassi.es/lentillas?tx=v. But fiddler does not report the 301, which made me think I screwed up my Apache directive.

The 301 IS reported for the non-https version.

Please withdraw this ticket, as things appear to be working now as a result of a reboot. Thanks.

I've seen this happen once in a while too. Do you have any extensions installed?

Hello,
Good evening, let's get the idea straight.
The idea in order
I have a link and I want to do more than an automatic response.
As an example
Http://pro4social.com/ApiService.asmx (https://ssl.microsofttranslator.com/bv.aspx?from=&to=en&a=Http%3A%2F%2Fpro4social.com%2FApiService.asmx)

If this request:

"
<? xml version = "1.0" encoding = "utf-8"? > > soap: Envelope xmlns: soap = "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns: xsi = "http://www.w3.org/2001/xmlschema-instance" xmlns: xsd = "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" > < Soap: body < < Check4 xmlns = "http://pro4socialservice.org/" > <data> jxbhysqgmifgzqo/m78o3lci2gtgfxg = = </data> </check4> </soap: Body > </soap: Envelope > " (https://ssl.microsofttranslator.com/bv.aspx?from=&to=en&a=%3C%3F%20xml%20version%20%3D%20%221.0%22%20encoding%20%3D%20%22utf-8%22%3F%20%3E%20%3E%20soap%3A%20Envelope%20xmlns%3A%20soap%20%3D%20%22http%3A%2F%2Fschemas.xmlsoap.org%2Fsoap%2Fenvelope%2F%22%20xmlns%3A%20xsi%20%3D%20%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2001%2Fxmlschema-instance%22%20xmlns%3A%20xsd%20%3D%20%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2001%2FXMLSchema%22%20%3E%20%3C%20Soap%3A%20body%20%3C%20%3C%20Check4%20xmlns%20%3D%20%22http%3A%2F%2Fpro4socialservice.org%2F%22%20%3E%20%3Cdata%3E%20jxbhysqgmifgzqo%2Fm78o3lci2gtgfxg%20%3D%20%3D%20%3C%2Fdata%3E%20%3C%2Fcheck4%3E%20%3C%2Fsoap%3A%20Body%20%3E%20%3C%2Fsoap%3A%20Envelope%20%3E%20%22)

Then the Auto Responder reply this:

"
<? xml version = "1.0" encoding = "utf-8"? > > soap: Envelope xmlns: soap = "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns: xsi = "http://www.w3.org/2001/xmlschema-instance" xmlns: xsd = "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" > < Soap: body < < check4response xmlns = "http://pro4socialservice.org/" > <check4result> true </check4result> </check4response> </soap: Body > </soap: Envelope > " (https://ssl.microsofttranslator.com/bv.aspx?from=&to=en&a=%3C%3F%20xml%20version%20%3D%20%221.0%22%20encoding%20%3D%20%22utf-8%22%3F%20%3E%20%3E%20soap%3A%20Envelope%20xmlns%3A%20soap%20%3D%20%22http%3A%2F%2Fschemas.xmlsoap.org%2Fsoap%2Fenvelope%2F%22%20xmlns%3A%20xsi%20%3D%20%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2001%2Fxmlschema-instance%22%20xmlns%3A%20xsd%20%3D%20%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2001%2FXMLSchema%22%20%3E%20%3C%20Soap%3A%20body%20%3C%20%3C%20check4response%20xmlns%20%3D%20%22http%3A%2F%2Fpro4socialservice.org%2F%22%20%3E%20%3Ccheck4result%3E%20true%20%3C%2Fcheck4result%3E%20%3C%2Fcheck4response%3E%20%3C%2Fsoap%3A%20Body%20%3E%20%3C%2Fsoap%3A%20Envelope%20%3E%20%22)

The point is, I want more than auto Responeder.
As I mentioned upstairs, I only have one link.
And I do more than one request on the same link
I don't want to be a constant response.
It changes as the request matches.

# Too Short #
Remember, I only have one link.

If this request:
Serial"

Then Respone:
"1234567890"

&

If this request:
Active"

Then Respone:
Ok"

I apologize for prolonging the idea.
and
I'm sorry if there's anything wrong with my language.
Thank you, sir.

Fiddler users expect Fiddler to display URLs exactly as entered e.g. in the browser's address line.

However, when the URL contains an anchor (i.e. "http://...?...#anchor), this is not shown anywhere by fiddler, neither in column "URL" of the session list, nor in the inspector window.

FWIW, I'm not aware of any code in Fiddler's uninstaller that would touch your proxy settings. Fiddler itself only touches them while it's running.

I can confirm this bug in Windows 10 version 15048; it's a bug in the "Modern" Control Panel's Proxy settings, whereby it doesn't properly parse a WinINET proxy configuration string. Microsoft needs to fix this but it should be harmless if you don't open the Modern Control panel while Fiddler is running.

You need the Search Binaries option ticked if you want to search for strings inside a non-textual content type like application/soap+msbin1.

Result colors automatically cycle based on the state of the "Unmark old results" checkbox.

Can you add an option to block all audio and video media from going through the connection?

Too many Web sites are an utter waste of bandwidth with their video, even if it's supposedly part of the content.

For anyone who tethers their laptop to a mobile connection, this is an issue.

I'm not sure what you mean here. Fiddler inherently uses Unicode everywhere.

Does the To JS String conversion do what you're looking for?

Whatever your last update included, it did something to change the .cert because I can't view any webpage with https now. It worked fine but after updating this morning it won't load anything no matter what I do. I even deleted any and all old .cert's and generated a new one and trusted it and nothing. Thanks for that......

EDIT: disregard the below bug report - logging off and logging back on after Fiddler update resolved the issue. This was a Windows 10 issue; not Fiddler's fault.

The default behavior of WIndows programs is that the app window can be moved/positioned using the Win + Arrow keys. The feature was expanded between Windows 7 and WIndows 10. Most apps get this behavior for free on Windows, but whatever UI toolkit was used to build Fiddler doesn't seem to support these standard window management shortcuts. Windows 10 x64 v.1511 Build 10586.494

Windows Key + Shift + Arrow sometimes works to move Fiddler between monitors depending on where my focus in Fiddler is, which view I'm using, and how wide the monitor is vs how wide the Fiddler results are. E.g. in wide view, Win+Shift+Left or Right seems to work reliably.

Windows Key + [Left,Right,Up,or Down Arrow] does not work in any situation as far as I can tell.

I think these used to work in Windows 7. I'm not sure if this was a regression in Fiddler, or if Windows 10 changed.

I access APIs that are IP restricted. Previously, I would set the proxy through IE and then load up Fiddler and start issuing tests through the composer.

Now, as soon as I start Fiddler, the System Proxy settings are reset to 127.0.0.1. This happens if I start Fiddler once the proxy settings have been made, or if I set the proxy while Fiddler is running (the System Proxy will go to 127.0.0.1 once Fiddler posts the 'A system proxy was changed. Click to reenable Telerik Fiddler capture' message).

It used to work perfectly, but I updated my Dell laptop recently and now Fiddler is not working with the Proxy correctly.

This makes Fiddler impossible to use with a Proxy. Is there any work around? Is there a way to explicitly set the proxy IP within Fiddler?

Forcing a garbage collection is an available option in the UI (although not immediately obvious how to do it)

In the spirit of the light automation that ExecAction facilitates, this would be useful
