ParagraphMarkerProperties of a Paragraph element are not cloned and this leads to incorrect list numbering (bullets) rendering after export since the numbering styles (bullets, numbers and etc.) copy the style properties from there.
This affects Clone() method of the Paragraph and ergo RadFlowDocumentEditor.InsertDocument() method and DocumentElementImporter.Import() methods since they're using Clone() method internally.

The document default style properties are not cloned on document.Clone().
There is a workaround by using the following code:

var cloning = this.document.Clone();
ClearPropertiesWithoutValueAndSetLocalValues(this.document.DefaultStyle.CharacterProperties, cloning.DefaultStyle.CharacterProperties);
ClearPropertiesWithoutValueAndSetLocalValues(this.document.DefaultStyle.ParagraphProperties, cloning.DefaultStyle.ParagraphProperties);

private void ClearPropertiesWithoutValueAndSetLocalValues(DocumentElementPropertiesBase propertiesFrom, DocumentElementPropertiesBase propertiesTo)

{
	foreach (var stylePropertyFrom in propertiesFrom.StyleProperties)
	{
		var stylePropertyTo = propertiesTo.GetStyleProperty(stylePropertyFrom.PropertyDefinition);
		stylePropertyTo.ClearValue();
		if (stylePropertyFrom.HasLocalValue)
		{
			object value = stylePropertyTo.GetLocalValueAsObject();
			stylePropertyTo.SetValueAsObject(value);
		}
	}
}

OutOfMemoryException is thrown when generating PDF with many pages each of which contains images, as all of the document model data is in-memory.

The issue is fixed with the new PdfStreamWriter API. As an example, you may see the attached demo to the following feedback item:

Xlsx documents with global print area defined cannot be imported. Message box "The name that you entered is not valid." is shown and internally SpreadsheetNameException is thrown.
By default, print areas are defined in the xlsx files for specific spreadsheet:
<definedName name="_xlnm.Print_Area" localSheetId="0">Sheet1!$A$1</definedName>
but this one is without localSheetId property specified.

MS Excel can import such document and even preserve the area, but do not respect it and doesn't have UI to clear it.

By OOXML specification, this attribute is optional:
<xsd:attribute name="localSheetId" type="xsd:unsignedInt" use="optional"/>

Workaround 1 (includes processing the document with MS Excel):
- Open the document in MS Excel
- Choose Formulas -> Defined names -> Named Manager
- Choose Filter -> Names with errors
- Find all Print_Area defined names and delete them
- Save the document

Workaround 2:
- Delete all print areas with OpenXML SDK

This is happening when the pages in the document has content arrays similar to the following:

[34 0 R 243 0 R] [34 0 R 245 0 R] [34 0 R 247 0 R] ....

As you may notice the content stream 34 0 R is reused and the issue is caused by incorrect caching of content stream indirect objects by their reference.

The way the RadSpreadProcessing decides if a row should be exported works slow. It iterates through all the rows in the UsedCellRange and checks if some property is set and if not, checks if some cell is set. This is slow because each row is checked one by one.

The current implementation expects the widths to be integer values and InvalidCastException is thrown when a real number is parsed.

Workaround: If the scenario allows, the PdfStreamWriter may be used instead of PdfFormatProvider. More information may be found in the following documentation article:

According to PDF specification, the resources used for the dynamic appearance of fields are defined globally in AcroForm "DR" PDF property. However, there are some invalid documents which define these resources locally in the field node which causes exception in PdfProcessing implementation. As there are several such documents we may consider handling such scenario instead of throwing the exception.

The exception is reproduced only with specific custom fonts and is thrown by the ComputeSubset() method of the GlyphTypeface class with the following message: "file does not conform to the expected file format specification". However, we can handle the exception and export the font data using the base class.

A font descriptor can be used by several fonts. However, when first a TrueType font is imported, later trying to import a Cid font leads to InvalidCastException with the message: "Unable to cast object of type 'Telerik.Windows.Documents.Fixed.FormatProviders.Pdf.Model.Elements.Fonts.FontDescriptor' to type 'Telerik.Windows.Documents.Fixed.FormatProviders.Pdf.Model.Elements.Fonts.CidFontDescriptor'."

Fix available in R3 2018 SP1 release.
