Ability to control the position of the drag and drop column

Using OnRowDrop works fine but there is no configuration possible to set the column at the end of the grid.

Of course it's a personnal taste but I like to have the all the actions buttons on the right side

Hi Nicolas,

We haven't received feedback for some time, however, we've considered that it will be useful to allow control over the drag and drop column position. It will most likely be handled with column declaration in the markup similar to the way the CommandColumn or the CheckBoxColumn can be declared where desired.

I have marked the item status as "Unplanned" indicating that this is a valid enhancement not scheduled for implementation yet. I also updated the title to cover the specific request.

Hello Nicolas,

In order to provide a solution that will be a best match for your desired scenario, I just want to double check and make sure we are on the same page.

If I correctly understand, you'd like to have the ability to freeze the command column and always have it on the rightmost of the Grid, so when the users are reordering the columns they will not be able to replace its position with some other column.

Currently, it is possible to reorder any column to be the last one on the right. Even if the GridCommandColumn has Reorderable="false", you are still able to reorder another column to place it at the end of the Grid and thus the command column will be moved to the left.

Please consider and let me know if this is your desired use case. I will be looking forward to receiving your response!
