I think it would be more useful to scroll to the first scheduled event on the day view rather than show an empty morning if there are only scheduled events in the afternoon. The month view does not show times, so when a day view is selected the user expects to see their meetings rather than having to scroll down to the first event.
It could be convenient to have the editor templates directly added to the solution (in Views\Shared) when deploying the ASP.Net MVC nuget package.
In order to use a kendo combobox in an editable kendo grid, you have to bind it to an object with two properties (1 for the value and 1 for the text) - unless you happen to be in the fairly unusual scenario where the value and text are the same. However, in a standard form, you can only bind a kendo combobox to a primitive type for the value. There is no way to bind to an object, which is required in the context of a kendo grid. So what is required in the grid, is not supported in a standard form. I don't understand the complexities of why that is, but this inconsistency does not make for a good developer experience. It results in either creating different EditorTemplates for the two cases, or binding to the generic "object" - which introduces other challenges / issues. Also - it means there is no good way to post the text back to the server when the kendo combobox is used in a standard form. When using the LoadContentFrom() in a tab inside a Tabstrip, the tab content does not get loaded until it become visible. Please consider making the Kendo Window behave like the TabStrip when a window use the LoadContentFrom() method, loading the content only when it become visible.
need button for downloading files from file browser in telerik ui for mvc/kendo mvc thanks
Using the MVC wrappers to style checkboxes and assign bindings works well except for the visible binding. the style is applied to the hidden input rather than the created styled label.
Please go through this thread. http://www.telerik.com/account/support-tickets/view-ticket.aspx?threadid=766782 Even if we are allowed to add additionalData in the Grid's Read method, that data is not properly passed on to the corresponding ViewModel on the MVC controller action. I had to write JS using the dot notation for objects and indexer for arrays to get it passed properly. My request is, if the additionalData is already json, allow it to be passed properly.
If you change the dataSource to a grid (for example by changing the filter conditions) so that less data is returned, you will not be warned if the current page is no longer valid. No error is reported and no data is returned and you won't have a clue why. Try this to replicate: Make a paged grid plus a couple of datepickers to filter the grid data by date range. Add a button to make the new filter dates effective. Write a new MVC controller method to populate the data, using the ToDataSourceResult extension method e.g. "return Json(obj.ToDataSourceResult(request));" to return data. Open a sizeable dataset in the grid (many pages) and go to the last page. Change the filter conditions to be much more restrictive. Click the button to make them effective. Watch as the grid displays no data, the code reports no error and stepping into your controller confirms that the method is returning data. Confusing huh? An error or warning would make this much clearer.
Please implement more Grid-parity features for the TreeList widget. Unfortunately, the filter for enum values shows only a numeric up/down on a TreeList. Change this behavior to match the Grid filter: here, enum values are shown with their textual representation (and, if provided, the [Display] attribute is evaluated).

instead of using the text parameter to apply filter in server side, use the filter parameter of the DataSourceRequest/DataSourceResult object for the comboBox.
Currently, if a developer wants to include only those files required for the extensions that are actually used in a project, they have to either figure the requirements out manually, or use the Custom Download tool at http://www.telerik.com/download/custom-download. It would make the Visual Studio extension much more useful if the same functionality was available there; instead of dumping all of the JS and CSS files into the project, allow the developer to select the wrappers to include, and only include the CSS (and relevant assets) for the selected theme.
Kendo UI MVC server-side wrappers are much more easier to work with but not possible to do a full SPA application and UI experience is slow. Can you come with an idea to allow development using server-side wrappers but then deploy application as client-side SPA converting server-side wrappers to client-side SPA code?
