We are using RadGrid in SharePoint Visual Webpart with FilterType="CheckList". What we need is to be able to filter the checklist further with auto filter textbox. 1. When the filter icon is clicked, it fills with all available options (say 100 + records). 2. User enters few characters (say first 4) in the textbox and the list gets filtered with the all options starting with... (resulting in 8 records) 3. User then selects the required option for the final filter. Please find attached image for clarification.
Aggregate functions like Max, Min and Count would be useful in some scenarios with fields of type DateTime.
The new RadGrid Filtering (Checkbox list) is great, but... 1) it will be great if, upon RadGrid Databinding, the filter gets a list of unique value for that column: that is, most of the time, how we populate the checklist. 2) Today, there's one Event "OnfilterCheckListItemsRequested" that is fired whenever a listbox needs to gets its list. Then you have to put in the event Handler the logic to find out which column called, and give back the specific column checkbox filtering list. IMO, each column should have a distinct EventHandler for this. And BTW, if in the same radgrid you mix the new filter and the old ones, the old ones get an empty box instead of the default filters with option "FilterType=checklist" Even if you choose filterType=Combined, there's a difference with the standard 'Filter way': instead of having directly the filters, you got to pass thru a single menu "filter options" to find the filter menu.
In an at least two level pivotgrid scenario, it would be nice to have the option of calculating the percentage of the inner level within that level and not based on the grand total (i.e. on the subtotal of the parent). In the attached image we can see that the inner levels have percentages based on the grand total instead of percentages of the category they belong. For example Diprivan should have a percentage of 100% since it is the only element of Astrazeneca. Same goes for Astrazeneca since it is the only element of Anesthetic, General.
When the data passed to the RadHtmlChart with "stock" layout presents the highest and lowest base units, you must scroll the mouse wheel in order to navigate to the smallest base units. This issue can be handled for example by exposing a scroller in the navigator that let you select smaller date ranges.
Will be useful for pie/donut charts in responsive web page scenarios.
In the Radchart there is a property called activeregion where the user can add a reference to html link. When the user clicks on the chart title, he can navigate to a new web page. This feature is not available in the new HtmlRadChart . We think that is suitable to have this function in the new HtmlRadchart. It can be even extended to axis labels of HtmlRadchart. Thank you for your help Best Regards AE
I have around 7 radcharts controls in a page. Each been called by 7 different JSON calls. Some of the json calls are taking time in pulling up the data. Due to this the graphs are taking time in displaying the charts. The loading and displaying of these charts should not be dependent on other charts in the same page. I want to render the charts simultaneously / parallely and not sequencially as it is happening now.
When user moved/resized RangeSelector it could be OnClientNavigationRangeChangedEvent fired, with new RangeSelector. From and RangeSelector. To values.
1.Today: When vertical axis are out of navigator range from to they are seen. 2.Suggtion: Give option to programmer to choose if to show or hide. 3.The same idea for plot bands,
Currently, only a few of the mistkaes are shown in the "Not In Dictionary" box. Once a word is changed or ignored, new ones are added. When the number increases, words from the beginning are removed. This property/method should let the spell control show all the text at once.
