Currently RadGauge has an option to turn on/off the animation when the chart is rendered through its transition property. If that property is set to true the requested feature will allow setting the speed/duration of the animation.
The scenario is the same web-page should render perfectly on all kind of devices(mobile, tablet, desktop, laptop, projector, and high-resolution TV etc.)
The Bar width is set using Size property for Minor tick. The Pointer Width is set using Size property of Pointer.
Now that the sizes for bar and pointers are fixed, we cannot change it with changing screen resolution.
SVG has the property for scaling itself based on the design size and actual size on the client (ViewPort Size).
If something like design width and design height property is added, it will be really helpful to scale the same control and use it on all kind of devices with resolutions ranging from 320 x 180 to 4K UHD displays.
<telerik:RadMaskedTextBox ID="RadMaskedTextBox2" Runat="server" Mask="<0..255>.<0..255>.<0..255>.<0..255>" ZeroPadNumericRanges="false" PromptChar=""> </telerik:RadMaskedTextBox> Should render 192.168.1.1 instead of 192.168.__1.__1
I would like to suggest a new control build from the same paradigm as the RadSocialShare. The control should enable a website to provide an easy way to setup shared sign up / login from different providers on your website. E.g. an easy way to let users sign up using their facebook account or Google account etc.
Reminders popup outside the page that the scheduler is used. Because re-adding the same scheduler in many pages is very bandwidth consuming so what about creating a minified scheduler control for reminders so the user will be reminded in all pages about events.
Currently the RadHtmlChart can be bound to a single data source. Add the ability to bind each series to a single data source.
Implement the ability to set the size of RadWindow in percents out of the box. The following knowledge base article describes how it could be achieved for the time being using the RadWindow client-side API: http://www.telerik.com/support/kb/aspnet-ajax/window/setting-size-in-percent-for-the-radwindow.aspx
According to the following Telerik links, the radCheckBox being on a page with a radButton defaults the rendermode to lightweight. https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/aspnet-ajax/controls/checkbox/troubleshooting/distorted-appearance https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/aspnet-ajax/controls/checkbox/mobile-support/render-modes The appearance is indeed distorted when used this way. Changing my radbutton to lightweight changes the design and doesn't match with the overall them of the site. To get the design I wanted, I used an asp:Checkbox instead of a radCheckBox. I'd like to request the radCheckBox and the other controls mentioned in the links to be able to be rendered in more than just lightweight. If radCheckBox is the only one we can get, that's fine as I'm not sure if I would need the other ones. The attached picture shows the issue. Thank you.
As of now RadEditor for SharePoint 2013 or sharepoint 2016 is not available, reason Telerik had provided for non-availablity of RadEditor for List Items as it is handled from client end is not acceptable, since many other component providers do support similar functions with their editors. the reason / use case iam looking for is becoz of need to handle clipboard manager in editor which is not available in Multiple line of text column type of an SharePoint 2013 list,
Using https://products.aspose.com/slides is expensive if you want to programmatically create a powerpoint slide. A typical UI component for input is seen in the attached slide (Spot Element on a performance grid), which would then be rendered into a powerpoint slide (spot on a grid). This is very typical in performance reviews, but also tracking High Flyers, eg are they too skilled for their current position and need to be promoted. Telerik have existing components that could be used, just need to save as a PPT slide instead of a PDF. If there was a Web Component (reuse for HTML5 Chart code) then Export to PowerPoint instead of PDF then you are almost there.
Would be nice to have a single sign on control (eg like http://www.gigya.com/) What this means is that you can sign on/sign up with any social login. Would like this to work well with ajax controls and KendoUI This sign on is megga important on mobile, but good for conversions on standard laptop or HD websites.
I don't ever use the radrotator because of how dated it is....sets a fixed with (rrClipRegion), rotated items flow behind that, jquery based animation...etc etc. Can we please knock this out of the park and make something like http://dimsemenov.com/plugins/royal-slider/ Look, if you guys didn't use your own rotator on the new telerik.com....something needs fixing, no? #Dogfooding
Some of the most powerful features of the new RadPivotGrid are based around aggregates. It would be great if you could simply sort by any aggregate fields set up, including Grand Totals. I have not seen any documentation on doing this as it stands.
I think you may consider the following similar type of control(s) in future release. I think the following is a good fit for use between a BI solution and standard reports. It gives regular users some flexibilities to generate ad-hoc queries within an application. http://demo.easyquerybuilder.com/asp-net-ajax/
The ASP.NET community really seems to be missing a proper property grid. The only example I could dig out was the outdated implementation on codeplex: http://propertygrid.codeplex.com/ I'd like to see one such implementation from Telerik.
Some org charts use a "side" connect to administrative assistants, where instead of connecting on top, they connect on the side to visualize the difference between them and other reports. Perhaps a "where to connect" property may fix this (top by default, then on the left or on the right).
You're working on a cleaner css3 approach, however sprites are still resource being downloaded...it's be great if the controls we're using on our page had iconography consistent with the site theme *automatically* instead of needing to use a custom skin. Can you please implement a clean fontawesome enabled skin? So instead of referencing a sprite and background position you instead would set :before or :after and content="\f002". This makes the resulting resources much lighter...as there's no sprite (retina ready by default) ...it'd be up to us to have fontawesome loaded on our page. (Teampulse uses fontawesome, and they have at least 1 radgrid) http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icons/ Steve
