In some cases, inside the Grid table, the tfoot element is rendered before the tbody element. This causes some readers to read the footer before the body. A possible workaround is moving the tfoot after the tbody in the OnGridCreated event: function OnGridCreated(sender, args) { var $ = $telerik.$; $('tfoot').each(function (index, item) { debugger var $item = $(item); var $next = $item.next(); if ($next[0]) { if ($next[0].tagName.toLowerCase() == "tbody") { debugger $item.insertAfter($next); } } }); }

 Hi

Our O365 users  see 'Excel on the screen'  so it should behave the same, its Excel in a the browser - which means the Ajax controls are competing with this.
Which means our code is crap because there is a difference in investment between us and Microsoft, we are also burdened with the feature that uses are lazy and dont want to think for themselves, the computer is meant to do thier job for them (so why employ them).
We also use MS Teams here that allows Excel documents to be used in the Browser, Teams joins sharepoint and skype.

It would be nice to you to look how your controls might integrate with Office 365  tooling, there is enormous traction in the market with MS Teams and O365 so I imagine the AJAX document sources would need O365/azure examples soon.

It matters that you have a skin that allows users to perceive that this app is just like O365, and the same assumptions can be made about the UX, this lifts a lot of the burden for the developers in training, when the affordance of O365 App and Telerik Apps are the same.

I would appreciate a set of demo examples that connect in to Azure/O365 and equally Dynamics365 (BizTalk) because of the traction in the O365 space, the amount of process automation in businesses across the UK and Europe. So many of the Telerik controls looks like desktop controls, many are better it would be useful to show just how easy it is connect into O365, maybe create a Graph Query connector or a sample O365 connector that covers the CRUD operations for office docs.

Thanks in advance

Hello,

I would like to highlight a GridLine based on a Labelled item when I have implemented skip in the HTML Chart.

Essentially, I have a series of days and would like to step the labels on a weekly basis. At each step I would like to highlight the GridLine associated with the label.

Hi

Here is what I am trying to achieve is to make the text fill the mask from the right rather than from the left.

If my mask is #(###)###-#### and my Prompt Char is _, Then this is what I expect to happen

If I enter 11 digit number I expect to show (1)(222)-333-4444. If I enter 10 digit number I expect to show _(222)-333-4444.

The API for the Masked Text Box control has NumericRangeAlign property that should allow this to happen but setting this property value to RIGHT or LEFT has NO visible effect.

Add option to move each highlighted item to the top (while searching), even if it is found outside of the visible part of the drop-down. The current behavior is to show the highlighted item at the bottom of the dropdown.

Currently, the RadMultiColumnComboBox has smaller height than the AutoCompleteBox or the RadComboBox for example.

A possible workaround can be using the following styles:

<style>
    .RadMultiColumnComboBox .k-dropdown-wrap {
        padding: 4px 12px;
    }

    .RadMultiColumnComboBox .k-select {
        width: 1.42857143em;
        height: 1.42857143em;
        position: absolute;
        box-sizing: content-box;
        top: 0;
        bottom: 0;
        right: 0;
        left: auto;
        padding: 6px;
    }
</style>

It will be helpful if we have import mpp (MS Project file) option instead of XML, this will ease users and they don't need to convert file to xml and than upload.
This is already done by other providers like bryntrum and i think it is a must as customers are suffering with export to xml and upload.

Hope telerik applies this suggestion!

Would like to show column grouping for a few columns in the RaddGantt.

e.g.

  • Planned Start and Planned End to be grouped under Planned
  • Actual Start and Actual End to be grouped under Actual
  • Financial Detail columns to be grouped under Task Financials

Also, would like to add to the query, how can I have the Gantt chart with the dates shown vertically as in the image attached.
I don't want the Week or Month name coming in the grouping. Just dates in the timeline view.

I am migrating Excel Documents into Line of Business application into web pages.
Which means everything excel can do, my client expect the telerik controls to do!
On either a RadGrid or RadGantt I would like to be able to rotate the headings just like in Excel.
An example is a heading like 'Days' but the actual value in that column is no bigger than 99.
Another example if that the heading has a question, and the cell a check box.

How can we plot planned Vs Actual on RadGantt chart? We need two rows in the Gantt for each task. The first row to show planned while the second row shows actual progress. Both Actual and Planned progress to be shown in different colors.

Sample output is attached for your quick reference.

There is a need to add custom buttons to the button strip of RadGantt.

The buttons for "Day | Week | Month" view appears on the top right of the RadGantt. The "Export to Pdf" button appears on the top left corner. I would like to add new buttons next to the "Export to Pdf" button.

I would suggest taking this as a feature request. There are many scenarios where we need to have custom buttons in the toolbar of the RadGantt. Let the priority be decided by public opinion.

I have two dates for a Task[Eg: Plan Dates & Actual Dates]. I want to show both plan and actual dates in same row, both with different colors. Below I have attached an image for reference.

To show both Planned and Actual dates(if any) for a particular single task on the same row with different colors for both.

In project management it´s very important the possibility to save a baseline, because is the reference to compare project performance.
Something like "save current task list with a specific name, sample: baseline_first-planning-date".
After sometime it´s possible to save new baseline with all changes of dates and other columns.
At this moment with two baselines it´s possible to compare the project performance, showing two gantt with different colors.
I believe this is a great improvement.
Thanks
Daniel

Add the Pan and Zoom feature found in HTMLChart to Gannt.
#1 This allows the project timelines to be zooned into and out of on the Right Hand Side, and on the Left Hand Side zoom into the 'bill of material' that makes up a Milestone to just milestone view.
#2 The Pan allows you to sweep along a long gantt chart, across days in a year. On a tablet you can just flick to the left and right to see what jobs you have on.

Label position dynamic. I'm currently using "InsideBase", but if those values are so small it's not very visible, so i'd like place those on the outside end.
