The current colors, #0082CC and #FFFFFF that are used for forecolor and backcolor, have 4.14:1 color contrast ratio: https://webaim.org/resources/contrastchecker/?fcolor=FFFFFF&bcolor=0082CC
The minimum required color contrast ratio is 4.5:1 for AA Compliance, and 7:1 for AAA Compliance.
A possible alternative color for the #0082CC blue can be #007CC.
Please add an ability to move text in different styles, something like HTML MARQUEE. For example: http://www.htmlcodetutorial.com/_MARQUEE_BEHAVIOR.html http://www.plus2net.com/html_tutorial/html_marquee_behvr.php
You can hide certain characters using "*" in the DisplayMask. For example: Mask="####" DisplayMask = "**##" If the value is "1234", after blur it will look like "**34" The same approach can be used for all mask parts. The only requirement is DisplayMask to be longer or equal to the Mask. For example: Mask = "<1..999>someLiterals####SomeMoreLiterals<3..123>" DisplayMask = "***someLiterals**#*Some*******s<1..99>*" If in the above example the DisplayMask is shorter or does not contains enough asterisks to match the editable parts, the visible value on blur can be wrong.
Trying to use a web testing tool (Selenium) and using xpath is not always working. I was wondering if it would be possible to always add an ID property to controls, especially in drop downs etc. so that it can clicked properly.
Telerik already provide PDF Viewer for Silverlight, this control is very common used and safe our time to display PDF without using client's browser plugin. It will be great this control to be available in ASP.NET, we will not spending IT budget for another controls. Telerik we know you can do it, this will make you more competitive.
What is EOL for this version. UI for ASP.NET AJAX R1 2017 SP1 (version 2017.1.228)
Could it be possible to see you developing a chat component to offer chat possibilities on a telerik Ajax Website? Would be great Thanks for all you do to simplify our developer life ! Best Jm Hetsch
I would like the ability to generate a graphic (.jpg, .bmp) of page 1 of a pdf document so it can be placed in a grid cell.
RadGrid's footer has wrong color in Metro skin - black text over black background. The problem is specific for Classic render mode.
Update from 4 Oct 2017: You can find a sample implementation of a CDN fallback in the following code library project: http://www.telerik.com/support/code-library/cdn-fallback You can try implementing a fallback similar to the approach from the links below, but check for the window.$telerik variable and initiate a postback to change the web.config or the concrete page's properties to avoid the CDN. You can find a sample implementation attached below. - http://www.hanselman.com/blog/CDNsFailButYourScriptsDontHaveToFallbackFromCDNToLocalJQuery.aspx - http://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/intro/installation/cdn-service#refer-kendo-ui-from-cdn-with-local-script-fallbacks Alternatively, use a custom CDN of your choice that will be better for your case/have better uptime than Amazon CloudFront: http://docs.telerik.com/devtools/aspnet-ajax/controls/scriptmanager/cdn-support/custom-cdn-provider
At present, when IE is in Compatibility Mode the UI for ASP.NET AJAX controls use the Classic RenderMode in all cases because of the User Agent string the browser provides. If RenderMode="Lightweight" and the X-UA-Compatible meta tag with value "IE=edge" is present on the server, the controls will render in the Lightweight mode instead of falling back to Classic. This will also apply to RenderMode="Auto".
Please add support for JQuery 3.x to Telerik ASP.NET for AJAX. I am able to integrate Telerik into a nice Bootstrap dashboard, but the jquery versions are no compatible. Telerik is further behind on the jQuery version.
