the layouts are definitely limited for this control compared to other established diagram controls:
http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/diagram/examples/overview/defaultcs.aspx

looking for a swim lane layout, something like this:
http://gojs.net/latest/samples/swimlanes.html

The connection lines should not intersect with one another(would depend on the layout obviously) and be smart like visio. The current layout choices are very messy when rendering data that has lots of connections in and out of shapes.

As stated by another developer in this forum, the StartCap and EndCap settings do not work at all, I have tried everything, the connections never have the filled circle and arrow. In fact if you set them, they make the control very unstable in the browser.

Feel free to reach out to me as I have evaluated the control for use in our infrastructure and its just not mature enough yet. Any idea when the next big release for this control will be?

Thanks,
dfabri@arrayworks.com

Hi, in SearchBox, when the field being searched is a date, we would like to be able to search via the 'smart parsing engine' of DateInput.

With regards to the RadImageGallery control, I suggest allowing developers to make the ImageGalleryItems "Title" and/or "Description" linkable. The RadImageGallery is a resource that lends itself to easily "promote" or "inform" users about events, products, and/or services and by making each slide linkable to a supporting page would be extremely useful.

Currently the only way to define the time interval in which the Notifications show is to set the ShowInterval property which takes the interval in millisecond. But if we need a notification to run on a particular time of day like at 21:47:29, there is no way to set it. And i don't see a work around for it too, other than calculate 24 hours in milliseconds and assuming it to run at that particular time.

It would really help if we can have a notificationRunType = {Interval, Time} which could evoke either the ShowInterval or ShowTime property, so that when notificationRunType="Time" and ShowTime="21:47:29" would set the RadNotifications to run on that particular time.

Wave Structure/Order is giving an error for RadSpell Control at "Not in Dictionary" label and Suggestions label. Hence our 508 testing is not passed.

Please find the attachment for more details.

URL is: http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/spell/examples/overview/defaultcs.aspx

Missing <h1> of Spell Check at the top of the dialog.

Not in Dictionary and Suggestions should not be headings they should be form labels.

Thanks

Please consider adding file editing into the RadFileExplorer (could leverage CodeMirror). Would be a great help to sitefinity to be able to edit the css or less directly on the fly in the fileexplorer.

As a user I would like to see on each grid the aggregate function totals for the actively displayed grid and on the last page the aggregate function totals for the active displayed grid and the data set aggregate function totals so that each page displays only its page level total and on the last page displays the full total of all data displayed.

See attached examples:
Example: Page level Total on every page and on the last page Page level Total plus Grid whole Total on the last page.

Basically, improve the approach suggested in the following article to provide a more generic solution, applicable for multiple aggregate fields:

Need the ability to Sort Grouped Items (ex. Salesperson) by the value of another Grouped Item (Sum of Sales).

Currently, there is NO WAY to sort a list of Salespeople by Total Sales. You can only perform an alpha sort on Salesperson's Name.

So, if you have a list of 100 Salespeople and their total product sales across dimensions like (product, geographic) you will have to MANUALLY look through and note who are your top Salespeople !!!!!!!!!!!

How can this be acceptable ??

An alpha sort on Salesperson is the best you guys can do??

Currently the mouse wheel scrolls a fixed amount of pixels. A property should allow the developer to control this speed. Leave your comments below on the way this property should be implemented (e.g. an enum or an integer from a given range).

RadListBox allows to declaratively bind the Text and Value properties of the ListItems, e.g:

<telerik:RadListBox runat="server" DataTextField="Text" DataValueField="Id">

Unfortunately, this is not possible for the ImageUrl property.

My Suggestion: please allow to also bind the ImageUrl declaratively as known from other controls, e.g:

<telerik:RadListBox runat="server" DataTextField="Text" DataValueField="Id"
    DataImageUrlField="..."

// and maybe even like this:

    DataImageUrlFormatString="..." DataImageUrlFields="...">
