A Vertical Orientation option would make the control usable as a side bar / sub navigation menu. Currently, we're using a PanelBar to achieve this functionality, but it lacks the Adaptive behavior of the Navigation control.
The Time Picker can be changed to present a more granular selection by changing the Interval setting; doing so however uses consumes considerable screen real-estate. To allow for a compact selection area with a higher range of selections I suggest adding adjustment buttons to the Time Picker title bar that adjust the displayed time up or down by 15 and 5 minute intervals. See attached PDF for example.
Hello, RadGrid that has a master and detail tables and is rebinded to another data-source. Please automatically change all information and details of the RadGrid, including details-view. Currently, only the master table is rebinded, not the details. Please see an example of the problem in the my forum question: http://www.telerik.com/forums/radgrid-detailtable-doesn-t-rebind! Thanks, Daniel. .NET Programmer at ISR Corp
When setting ResourceMarkerType to "Bar" or "Block" on the AgendaView mode of the Scheduler, it would be useful if the marker would show the background and border colors that were specified in the ResourceStyleMapping section of the scheduler. As it is now, it only takes the css class that was assigned to the resource type. In our application the user can specify any color for each resource type using a colorpicker.
while replacing my RadMenu for the new RadNavigation, I was forced to stop because the RadNavigation does not support columns like the RadMenu can e.g. <telerik:RadMenu runat="server" ID="radMainMenu" MaxDataBindDepth="2" EnableRoundedCorners="true" EnableShadows="true" EnableTextHTMLEncoding="true"> <DefaultGroupSettings RepeatColumns="2" RepeatDirection="Vertical" /> </telerik:RadMenu> Keep up the good work, Thanks.
I would like to suggest ability to display data series in doughnut and pie charts, see attached example from Excel. And thanks for a great Telerik experience, you make my development work very easy.
Hello, The RadHtmlCharts are great! One that is missing however -- a spectrum chart, aka a spectral chart. This takes in a set of data points and renders the values as color-dense shadings. Screenshot attached of one we made ourselves. This would be useful for scientific applications. thanks, matt
I think that TreeView incorrectly handles the case of a drop beneath a node that is expanded. When a node (with or without children) is _not_ expanded, then dropping directly beneath (meaning lower down on the page) that node indicates that the node should be made the next sibling of the node. - A + B ------ <- Drop indicator means that dropping here will cause the dropped node to be the next sibling of B, which makes sense. - C This case makes perfect sense. However, when the node is expanded, the drop indicator doesn't change it's behavior, and I think it should. - A + B ------ <--- Dropping here will cause the dropped node to be the next sibling of B, but this is not visually where it will appear in the tree. - B.1 - B.2 <--- This is where the node will appear after drop. - C This is counter-intuitive to most people. People think that dropping between B and B.1 would make the dropped item to become a child of B and a prior sibling of B.1. But instead, it has the same effect as if the B node wasn't expanded and adds the new dropped node as the next sibling of B. Note that in this case, the newly dropped node doesn't show up where it was dropped. When a node doesn't appear in the tree where it was dropped, people assume that that's a bug. To see the issue, go here: http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/treeview/examples/functionality/draganddropnodes/defaultcs.aspx In the "RadTreeView1" treeview, try to drag the "Deleted Items" item to be the last item in the list (but not a child of "Search Folders"). If you drag toward the bottom of the tree, after you drag down past "Unread Mail", you see the drop indicator that shows that you can drop to make it be the next sibling of "Unread Mail". If you keep dragging down, you _don't_ see an indicator that you can drop to make the next sibling of "Search Folders". However, if you drag between "Search Folders" and "Form Follow Up", then you _will_ see an indicator that shows that the item will be made the next sibling of "Search Folders". And if you drop there, it will indeed be made the next sibling of "Search Folders", but of course it will appear at the bottom of the tree (not where you dropped it). The kendo TreeView has the same behavior as the RadTreeView. However, I have found some TreeViews that handle it in the way I would prefer. See http://mbraak.github.io/jqTree/ for an example.
Hi, It seems there is no built in feature in RadFilter Control to populate the filters in Combobox, and seems like its using Context Menu now. The problem is, we are populating large number of filters (>50) and navigating through the context menu to look for particular filter is painful. We are requesting a feature to have the filters populated in something like Typeahead Combobox. (Please see attached screenshot)
A property to handle that would be very convenient. This way developers could be able to restrict the number of rows that the user can type. Something like MaxRowNumber. Additionally, a property MaxColumnNumber would be also useful to restrict the length of each row.
Please update the RadODataSource to support the newest version of OData. The syntax for filtering (among other things) has changed, so I am unable to implement this control with my chosen technology stack until it is updated. Thanks!
Was hoping for the functionality where the difference area between lines could be colored accordingly. example: htmlchart with 3 lines 1:+standard 2:-standard and 3:Actual value. If the Actual value line is below the -standard, the difference area should be colored red. In case it crosses the +standard it should be green. Likely the Actual value line would be an Area-serie but that aside.
I found a request in the forums from 2010 for venn diagram functionality, but the topic is locked now. I was wondering if there was any chance that you might implement this at some point? The ability to create these, particularly with labeled/valued intersections, is a highly requested feature for our software. Thanks!
Currently labels for SeriesItems having Y of 0 are not displayed in PieSeries and DonutSeries due to visual considerations. Improve the handling of such labels.
It will possible to manually invoke the saving and loading of the dock state when the built-in dock state persistence is used in order to avoid the automatic saving and loading of the state on each postback.
I would just like to be able to easily control the horizontal alignment of the paging buttons of a RadDataPager control. I should be able to set the paging buttons left, center, or right and when I choose that the entire set of buttons follows that command. Right now they align to the left so the only option is to do some margin stuff in CSS to move them around. While this sort of works it's not very good, especially when the number of page button changes (based on search results). Also, this method is terrible on mobile phones with different widths. I opened Support ID 873213 on this and they suggested I post it as a feature request here. Seems like this option is a no brainer to add.
