If a list is pasted into the editor's content. Its removal does not remove all the imported HTML content. Some SPAN elements are left intact. This is causing incorrect behavior for further text editing.

Currently, the font family will not be passed to the Editor content. It's reproducible when loading tools from xml file. Possible workaround is to use ContentAreaCssFile to set such style or on the OnClientLoad event:

    <script>
        function OnClientLoad(sender, args) {
            sender.get_contentArea().style["font-family"] = "Arial, Verdana, Tahoma";
        }
    </script>

This method should change the text and the tooltip of a desired tool.

Currently this functionality does not work and the set value is not applied to the UI of the button.

Possible workaround is using the following custom Client-side method, that changes both the button's text and its tooltip:

function changeToolsText(editor, toolName, newToolText) {
	var tool = editor.getToolByName(toolName);

	var toolElement = tool.get_element();
	var textElement = $telerik.getChildByClassName(toolElement, "reButton_text", 0);

	//Set the tooltip of the Anchor element
	toolElement.title = newToolText;
	//Set the text of the button
	textElement.innerHTML = newToolText;
}

This method accepts three overload arguments:
1. editor - the editor's Client-side object;
2. toolName - the name of the tool as string;
3. newToolText - the desired text as string;

Example:
function OnClientLoad(editor, args) {
	changeToolsText(editor, "CustomTool", "New text value");
}

Having multiple paragraphs that are formatted with color and font-size as inline styles, selecting them and applied font-size by using RealFontSize tool causes these issues:

1. Only first paragraph is properly decorated;
2. Second paragraph is stripped from any inline styles at all;
3. The next paragraphs stay without any changes applied.

Possible workaround is to disable the ConvertFontToSpan filter:

RadEditor1.DisableFilter(EditorFilters.ConvertFontToSpan);

When creating links in RadEditor if the href attribute has square brackets, opening the hyperlink manager will appear like there is no url at all.
If OK button is clicked the url disappears.

Telerik should provide the ability to dynamically create and edit the RadRibbonBar toolbar of RadEditor. Right now it is possible to create and edit the toolbar via the provided XML file.

We would like the image manager to be able to support:

max-width
min-width
max-height
min-height

and produce output similar to:

<img src="/randomlink.png" style="width : 100%; height : auto; max-width : 960px; min-width : 200px;" />

This way we can use the RadEditor to produce responsive content.

When a user is trying to insert new text inside other's user not accepted change the cursor is automatically jumping in the end of the unaccepted change. Different expected behavior can be the change to break the current change.

If a font table (i.e. default font, or the \fonttbl keyword) is missing from the RTF content that is being loaded in RadEditor, the control should not throw an error. If possible or needed, a font table section can be added if it is not already present in the content.

Currently, RadEditor supports single level context menu only. We had one of the requirement to have a multilevel context menu (like - menu --> sub menu). It would be really nice to have this feature in the upcoming release as it makes the RadEditor more user friendly.

Steps:
1. Add some track changes text using Author=User0 and UserCSSId="reU0".
2. Change the Author to "User1" and UserCSSId to "reU1".
3. Click inside of User0's tracked text and start typing.

Results: The new text is displayed as if User0 wrote it, in User0's color.

Expected Result: The new text that was injected by User1 in the middle of User0's text would be have User1's color and hover text that pertains to User1. (Similar to how Word does it.)

Currently, if a paragraph has altered line-height in MS Word, pasting it into the RadEditor results to a normal paragraph with not affection to the line-height CSS property.

Commonly users add empty anchor elements, e.g, <p><a name="anchor"></a>Some text</p>. By that, they provide a proper anchoring behavior in HTML, and prevent the text from being decorated as link.

The limitation here is that the anchor element cannot be selected, and thus unable to be edited via the LinkManager dialog.

It would be nice, if there is some built-in logic that handles this situation and provide a proper way for the end-users to be able to visually distinguish this anchors and edit them if needed.

You can find attached a custom solution for such approach.

When link is given to image or text, Unlink command should get enabled. But it gets enabled for text only while remains disabled for images.

Take a look at www.pasteboard.co/. It works fine in all major browsers except for IE.

Image content is inserted right in the image tag like: <IMG SRC="data:image/png;base64,...">, and that's exactly what we need. We don't even need the pasted images to be uploaded to the server side.

It seems www.pasteboard.co/ doesn't rely on the canvas element. You can remove it, and everything will work fine. Please see http://screencast.com/t/8IHQfHvq0e.

Also please see www.snag.gy. It doesn't contain a canvas, but still works well.

You can also take a look at strd6.com/2011/09/html5-javascript-pasting-image-data-in-chrome. It doesn't look great because it works in Chrome only. But still it works in Chrome.

Currently RadEditor does not support ShortCuts when its toolbar is set to RibbonBar.

Possible option is to register the shortcut via client-side approach, by using the ShortcutManager object (http://docs.telerik.com/devtools/aspnet-ajax/controls/editor/client-side-programming/shortcutmanager-object):

<telerik:RadEditor ID="RadEditor1" runat="server" ToolbarMode="RibbonBar" OnClientLoad="OnClientLoad">
</telerik:RadEditor>

<script>
    function OnClientLoad(editor, args) {
        editor.get_shortCutManager().addShortCut("TemplateManager", "CTRL+ALT+S");
    }
</script>

The problem is only reproducible in Chrome. The error does not affect the content or the functionality of TrackChanges. Chrome throws this exception because it tries to select unavailable DOM range.
