When there are empty lines at the top of the content and text is pasted at the first line, it appears after the empty rows not where the cursor position is.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/controls/examples/integration/ribbonbarandeditor/defaultcs.aspx?product=editor
2. Put focus in the editor before any of the existing content.
3. Press enter several times to insert blank lines at the top of the content.
4. Paste some text at the first line.

Expected: The pasted text is inserted at the first line of the content area.
Actual: The pasted text is placed after the empty lines.

The issue is related to the insert select functionality and is reproduced with .NET35. The workaround is to disable the selection by putting the following script below the RadEditor:

        <script type="text/javascript">
            Telerik.Web.UI.RadEditor.prototype._addHandlersForSelectTags = function ()
            { }
        </script>

Currently it is not possible to add null-able series items in RadHtmlChart in the markup or programmatically. If a null-able item is added it is omitted and is replaced by the next series item from the current Series. The workaround is to either data bound the chart to a data source or convert the null-able values to zeros:

C#:

        decimal? nullValue = null;
        if (nullValue == null)
        {
            nullValue = 0;
        }

        ColumnSeries colSeries2 = RadHtmlChart1.PlotArea.Series[1] as ColumnSeries;
        colSeries2.SeriesItems.Add(39);
        colSeries2.SeriesItems.Add(nullValue);
        colSeries2.SeriesItems.Add(3);

If the content page has a title RadWindow should set it for its own title, unless its Title property has been set explicitly.

Since Q2 2013, when ShowContentDuringLoad=true (which is the default value) this does not happen.

The second workaround is using the OnClientPageLoad event:
			function OnClientPageLoad(sender)
			{
				try
				{
					var pageTitle = sender.get_contentFrame().contentWindow.document.title;
					sender.set_title(sender.get_title() == "" ? pageTitle : sender.get_title());
				}
				catch (err)
				{

				}
			}
The try-catch block is used to catch errors in case the page is from another domain and the JavaScript same-origin policy is in effect.

The event handler can also be attached to the RadWindow manager so that it will be used for all its RadWindows.

The mentioned delete operations are not working as expected and consistent across the major browsers. This behavior is casing the Track Changes feature to be unavailable and unusable in some cases.

If a TabStrip with two editors is configured, the editor in the first tab is working correctly, but if the second is shown - its toolbar is not working as expected.

Possible resolution is to insert a meta tag in the head element of the main page, which sets the rendering engine of IE10:
<meta http-equiv="x-ua-compatible" content="IE=10" />

Another possible resolution is to call the onParentNodeChanged() method after the tab is selected:

<telerik:RadTabStrip ID="RadTabStrip1" runat="server" SelectedIndex="0"
    MultiPageID="RadMultiPage1"
    OnClientTabSelected="OnClientTabSelected">

Error message: Unable to get property '_handlesCollection' of undefined or null reference
when RenderMode=Lightweight

Workarounds:
- enable the default behaviors to enable the Resize (and thus- maximize0 functionality, restore behaviors later:
				function OpenForm(sender, args) {
					var oWnd = radopen(null, "existing");
					var currBehaviors = oWnd.get_behaviors();
					oWnd.set_behaviors(Telerik.Web.UI.WindowBehaviors.Default);
					if (!oWnd.isMaximized()) {
						oWnd.maximize();
					}
					oWnd.set_behaviors(currBehaviors);

Common scenario is to use PrimaryIconCssClass and SecondaryIconCssClass to decorate custom icons. Common situation is using bootstrap's classes for the glyphicons.

In order to workaround this you can use custom CSS rules and define the expected content properties for the before elements. This is an example with bootstrap icons (http://glyphicons.bootstrapcheatsheets.com/).

<style>
    .rbPrimaryIcon.glyphicon-filter:before,
    .rbSecondaryIcon.glyphicon-filter:before {
        content: "\e138";
    }
</style>

<telerik:RadButton ID="RadButton2" runat="server"
    Text="Filter" ButtonType="SkinnedButton"
    Icon-PrimaryIconCssClass="glyphicon glyphicon-filter" >
</telerik:RadButton>

After having a filter applied, filter value is not cleared when FilterOption was set to "NoFilter".

The following client-side logic would clear the textbox values before the filtering is applied if filter options are set to "NoFilter"

            function onCommand(sender, args) {
                if (args.get_commandName() == "HeaderContextMenuFilter") {
                    var firstTextBox = $("[id$='HCFMRTBFirstCond']")[0].control;
                    var firstFilterOption = args.get_commandArgument().split("|")[1];

                    var secondTextBox = $("[id$='HCFMRTBSecondCond']")[0].control;
                    var secondFilterOption = args.get_commandArgument().split("|")[3];

                    if (firstFilterOption.includes("NoFilter") && firstTextBox.get_value() != "") {
                        args.set_cancel(true);
                        var value = firstTextBox.get_value();
                        firstTextBox.clear();
                        var newArg = args.get_commandArgument().replace("|" + value + "|?", "||?");
                        args.get_tableView().fireCommand(args.get_commandName(), newArg);
                    }

                    if (secondFilterOption.includes("NoFilter") && secondTextBox.get_value() != "") {
                        args.set_cancel(true);
                        var value = firstTextBox.get_value();
                        secondTextBox.clear();
                        var newArg = args.get_commandArgument().replace("|" + value + "|?", "||?");
                        args.get_tableView().fireCommand(args.get_commandName(), newArg);

A workaround is to disable the embedded jQuery and use an older version (for example, 1.11.1 which is the previous version the suite used): https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/aspnet-ajax/controls/scriptmanager/disabling-the-embedded-jquery

Repro steps:

- Add a dropdownlist, attach server handler
- select item

Expected: postback

Actual: error

<asp:Label Text="" ID="Label1" runat="server" />
<telerik:RadDropDownList runat="server" ID="rddl1" OnSelectedIndexChanged="rddl1_SelectedIndexChanged" AutoPostBack="true">
    <Items>

        <telerik:DropDownListItem Text="second" />
        <telerik:DropDownListItem Text="third" />
    </Items>
</telerik:RadDropDownList>

If the same text is typed into the input field as the one set for EmptyMessage and page is submitted, validator evaluates True.

Current workaround is to subscribe the RadComboBox to OnClientFocus client event handler, and clear the EmptyMessage manually, thus preventing the EmptyMessage text to be sent to server.

<telerik:RadComboBox ... OnClientFocus="comboFocus">

<script type="text/javascript">
	function comboFocus(sender, args) {
		sender.set_emptyMessage("");
	}

Hi

Since updating to the latest release of UI for ASP.NET AJAY the RadContextMenu of my RadGrid is misaligned at the right edge of the screen. Even in your sample https://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/grid/examples/columns-rows/columns/context-menu/defaultcs.aspx when you open the context menu at the right side of the screen the context menu is nor aligned to the left (like it used to be).

Please ses the attached printscreen.

Kind regards
Felix

If anchor links of GridButtonColumn do not define a text links are still rendered and screen readers read their href attribute. Anchor links with no text could define an attribute area-hidden="true".

Hello,

There seems to be a bug with the RadEditor "Find and Replace" feature. I have recorded a screencast available here documenting the issue and will also provide below the information written: https://www.screencast.com/t/MXFawxIPp

Reproduction Steps:

Expected: '<img' is replaced with '<picture'

Actual:'<img' is replaced with '&lt;picture'

Notes:This seems to be an issue with encoding as &lt; is a less than tag. As you can see in the video, I do not think there is a way to escape the character to allow it to be replaced correctly. If you have additional questions, please ask.

Best Regards
