As a user I would like to see on each grid the aggregate function totals for the actively displayed grid and on the last page the aggregate function totals for the active displayed grid and the data set aggregate function totals so that each page displays only its page level total and on the last page displays the full total of all data displayed. See attached examples: Example: Page level Total on every page and on the last page Page level Total plus Grid whole Total on the last page.
I didn't realize this is the new trend till recently. And I just found the 360 cameras are getting cheaper and cheaper with more features. Among many other models to shoot 360 Photos and Videos, the Ricoh Theta S and Samsung 360 Gear (2017) are just around $200-$300 ! I have learned YouTube supports 360 Videos but NOT 360 Photos. FB supports both I think but it is not easy to let us embed them into our own sites. So if Telerik came out with a new Control to support these needs, it will be very great ! Thanks much.
It will be possible to edit the content of shapes and connections of RadDiagram by interacting with them.
I am migrating Excel Documents into Line of Business application into web pages. Which means everything excel can do, my client expect the telerik controls to do! On either a RadGrid or RadGantt I would like to be able to rotate the headings just like in Excel. An example is a heading like 'Days' but the actual value in that column is no bigger than 99. Another example if that the heading has a question, and the cell a check box.
A Vertical Orientation option would make the control usable as a side bar / sub navigation menu. Currently, we're using a PanelBar to achieve this functionality, but it lacks the Adaptive behavior of the Navigation control.
Hello, Here is how i bind the dropdown. when i trype anything in dropdown it only search based on product code, but i also want search to perform on product code, Product name and wood type code. Please let me know how can i achieve same. <telerik:RadComboBoxDataSourceID="SqlDataSource1"DataTextField="ProductCode"DataValueField="idxProductPriceID"EnableAutomaticLoadOnDemand="True"ItemsPerRequest="10"ShowMoreResultsBox="true"EnableVirtualScrolling="true"AutoPostBack="true"OnSelectedIndexChanged="drpProduct_SelectedIndexChanged"EnableLoadOnDemand="true"EnableScreenBoundaryDetection="true"HighlightTemplatedItems="true"MarkFirstMatch="false"Filter="Contains"ID="drpProduct"DropDownAutoWidth="Enabled"Width="100px"runat="server"><HeaderTemplate><tablestyle="width: 100%"cellspacing="0"cellpadding="0"><tr><tdstyle="width: 20%;">Product Code </td><tdstyle="width: 40%;">Product Name </td><tdstyle="width: 40%;">Wood Type Code </td></tr></table></HeaderTemplate><ItemTemplate><tablestyle="width: 100%"cellspacing="0"cellpadding="0"><tr><tdstyle="width: 20%;"><%#DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "ProductCode")%></td><tdstyle="width: 40%;"><%#DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "ProductName")%></td><tdstyle="width: 40%;"><%#DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "WoodTypeName")%></td></tr></table></ItemTemplate></telerik:RadComboBox><asp:SqlDataSourcerunat="server"ID="SqlDataSource1"ConnectionString="<%$ ConnectionStrings:Default %>"ProviderName="System.Data.SqlClient"SelectCommandType="StoredProcedure"SelectCommand="3_ProductList_Select"></asp:SqlDataSource>
It will be helpful if we have import mpp (MS Project file) option instead of XML, this will ease users and they don't need to convert file to xml and than upload. This is already done by other providers like bryntrum and i think it is a must as customers are suffering with export to xml and upload. Hope telerik applies this suggestion!
Add the Pan and Zoom feature found in HTMLChart to Gannt. #1 This allows the project timelines to be zooned into and out of on the Right Hand Side, and on the Left Hand Side zoom into the 'bill of material' that makes up a Milestone to just milestone view. #2 The Pan allows you to sweep along a long gantt chart, across days in a year. On a tablet you can just flick to the left and right to see what jobs you have on.
Telerik already makes it super simple to integrate (data bound) controls with databases. I would like to see the same easy-of-use when it comes to Web-Services. While I think the RADClientDataSource is exactly the component I would like to see for that, I would like Telerik to extend it by adding Wizards so that it is possible to do a GUI and integrate it with Web-Services without coding. Long story: Basically, many web-based applications use tools like Microsoft BizTalk to implement processes and workflows, talk to databases, implement business logic etc. Most such applications also need user input, so development teams often split two ways: 1. the guys who do the backend 2. the guys who do the frontend In such setting, it would be perfect if the backend guys could provide a bunch of Web-Services that provide the data for the GUI and that also receive the data from the GUI and can do something with it. THat means that the GUI guys will not communicate with databases as much but use the Services instead - and should be able to integrate their GUI just as swiftly and ideally without coding as it can be done with the data-bound controls. After all, while the database schema describes the structure of the data a GUI can pull and the structure into which the GUI may write data, XSD's/WSDL's do the same for Services. So if these XSD's/WSDL's are the "interface" between the GUI guys and the backend guys, a code-free integration at least for common use cases should be easily possible. And I think extending the RADClientDataSource with Wizards etc. would be the perfect way to do it. What do you guys think?
the layouts are definitely limited for this control compared to other established diagram controls: http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/diagram/examples/overview/defaultcs.aspx looking for a swim lane layout, something like this: http://gojs.net/latest/samples/swimlanes.html The connection lines should not intersect with one another(would depend on the layout obviously) and be smart like visio. The current layout choices are very messy when rendering data that has lots of connections in and out of shapes. As stated by another developer in this forum, the StartCap and EndCap settings do not work at all, I have tried everything, the connections never have the filled circle and arrow. In fact if you set them, they make the control very unstable in the browser. Feel free to reach out to me as I have evaluated the control for use in our infrastructure and its just not mature enough yet. Any idea when the next big release for this control will be? Thanks, firstname.lastname@example.org
With regards to the RadImageGallery control, I suggest allowing developers to make the ImageGalleryItems "Title" and/or "Description" linkable. The RadImageGallery is a resource that lends itself to easily "promote" or "inform" users about events, products, and/or services and by making each slide linkable to a supporting page would be extremely useful.
Such property will allow the developer to choose whether the warnings will be displayed as RadAlerts or standard browser alerts. In this way the built in WindowManager could be user for showing RadAlerts.
Currently RadNotification uses a single 3D set of icons for all skins. Metro styling, however, requires flat icons. With the current implementation such visualization can be achieved by putting a custom icon using the ContentIcon and TiteleIcon properties.
