When doing batch edits on a grid if you delete a row, the row is no longer visible in the grid but it is not actually deleted until users click the 'Save' button. This has led to some confusion for our users who delete the rows then navigate off the page w/o pressing save. They think they successfully deleted the rows but when they return to the grid the rows are still present.

We have added logic when navigating away from the page that checks and prompts users if there are unsaved batch edit changes, but in case of deleted rows, when they look at the grid, there is no indication about the deleted rows so they are unaware that the rows were not actually deleted.

We like the idea of not deleting the rows until the user presses the save button, but maybe the delete action should not remove the row from the grid and instead simply strike it out, or put a 'marked for deletion' flag or do something visual to keep the row on the grid but make it obvious that it has been marked for deletion. This way users will not be confused and will know that they must click the Save for the change to take effect.

When using custom shapes (circles, triangles, etc) in a RadHtmlChart, the custom shape should be displayed in the legend instead of always a square. This is because when printing with a black & white printer, the colored squares won't help the reader read the chart, however the shapes would.

Some org charts use a "side" connect to administrative assistants, where instead of connecting on top, they connect on the side to visualize the difference between them and other reports. Perhaps a "where to connect" property may fix this (top by default, then on the left or on the right).

For the time being you can stack 100% series through the chartObject. For example:
ASPX:
		<telerik:RadScriptManager ID="RadScriptManager1" runat="server"></telerik:RadScriptManager>
		<script>
			function pageLoad() {
				var chart = $find("<%=ColumnChart1.ClientID%>");
				chart._chartObject.options.series[0].stack = { type: "100%" };
				chart.repaint();
			}
		</script>
		<telerik:RadHtmlChart runat="server" ID="ColumnChart1" Width="600px" Height="400px">
			<PlotArea>
				<Series>
					<telerik:ColumnSeries Name="Product 1">
						<SeriesItems>
							<telerik:CategorySeriesItem Y="15000" />
							<telerik:CategorySeriesItem Y="23000" />
							<telerik:CategorySeriesItem Y="10000" />
						</SeriesItems>
					</telerik:ColumnSeries>
					<telerik:ColumnSeries Name="Product 2">
						<SeriesItems>
							<telerik:CategorySeriesItem Y="35000" />
							<telerik:CategorySeriesItem Y="13000" />
							<telerik:CategorySeriesItem Y="20000" />
						</SeriesItems>
					</telerik:ColumnSeries>
				</Series>
				<XAxis>
					<Items>
						<telerik:AxisItem LabelText="1" />
						<telerik:AxisItem LabelText="2" />
						<telerik:AxisItem LabelText="3" />
					</Items>
				</XAxis>
			</PlotArea>
			<ChartTitle Text="Product sales for 2011">
			</ChartTitle>
			<Legend>
				<Appearance Position="Bottom" />
			</Legend>
		</telerik:RadHtmlChart>

The desired effect can be achieved easily with CSS and this approach will even allow for finer tuning of the desired effect.

The RadWindpw's ContentTemplate is a simple div element that has dimensions set in pixels by the RadWindow scripts, so you can control the way its contents flow just like any other generic div element on your page. Below follows an example.

In case an external page is loaded in the RadWindow (e.g., via the NavigateUrl property), it will be loaded with an iframe that has its width and height set to 100% of the RadWIndow content area. Thus, it is up to the content page to control its scrolling.

<%--A sample RadWindow declaration you can use for quick testing--%>
<telerik:RadWindow ID="RadWindow1" runat="server" VisibleOnPageLoad="true">
	<ContentTemplate>
		<div class="desiredOverflow">
			Add your content here
			<div style="height: 1000px; width: 1000px; background-color: yellow;">
				some dummy content so you can test out the overflow CSS rules behavior
			</div>
		</div>
	</ContentTemplate>
</telerik:RadWindow>

/* some sample CSS that you can use to control the scrolling behavior of your content */
.desiredOverflow
{
	width: 100%;
	height: 100%;
	margin: 0;
	padding: 0;
	overflow: scroll; /* set the desired value here */
	/* you can also use the other overflow rules for fine control */
	overflow-x: hidden; /* set the desired value here */
	overflow-y: scroll; /* set the desired value here */
}

There are two workarounds you can use in the meantime

- Use string representations of the dates instead of actual dates. In this manner you can bind the chart to strings and use a "regular" categorical axis and then the plot bands will work based on the index of the item. In such a case you will need to aggregate the data yourself before passing it to the chart.
- Using the Kendo Chart widget directly, and here is an example of using date objects and adding plot bands dynamically: https://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/controls/charts/how-to/appearance/dynamic-plot-bands

Here is also a basic example of fetching the Kendo Chart scripts through a hidden RadHtmlChart so that you can easily use the Kendo Chart widget

<script>
    var myData = [{
        "day": new Date("2014/01/01")
    }, {
        "day": new Date("2014/01/02")
    }, {
        "day": new Date("2014/01/31")
    }];

    function addPlotBand() {
        $ = $telerik.$;

        var start = new Date(2014, 0, 1 + Math.floor(Math.random() * 30));
        var end = new Date(start.getTime() + 1000 * 3600 * 24); // 24 hours after start

        var options = {};

        options["categoryAxis"] = {
            plotBands: [{
                from: start,
                to: end,
                color: "green"
            }]
        };

        $("#chart2").data("kendoChart").setOptions(options);
    }

    function pageLoad() {
        $ = $telerik.$;
        $("#chart2").kendoChart({
            dataSource: {
                data: myData
            },
            categoryAxis: {
                type: "date",
                field: "day"
            }
        });
    }
</script>
<telerik:RadButton ID="RadButton1" runat="server" AutoPostBack="false" OnClientClicked="addPlotBand" Text="add plotband" />
<div id="chart2"></div>
<telerik:RadHtmlChart runat="server" ID="chart" Style="visibility: hidden;">
    <PlotArea>
        <XAxis DataLabelsField="day">
        </XAxis>
    </PlotArea>
</telerik:RadHtmlChart>

Admin update: You can follow this article and the sample it provides to create an adaptive RadWindow https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/aspnet-ajax/controls/window/mobile-support/responsive,-adaptive-and-elastic-capabilities#fluid-or-adaptive-design-with-radwindow and you can also tweak the provided code through the rich client-side API of the control so it matches your concrete requirements.

RadWindow is one of the controls we use a lot in our applications. As our applications get more and more optimized to be used on smartphones and tablets, we tried to redo some of our functionality or replace them with RadLightboxes or other ways. But the RadLightbox lacks a lot of the functionality the RadWindow has: windowmanager, dialogs, more focussed on regular web-page content,....

I have been waiting for adaptive RadWindow functionality for quite some time, and I really hope I'm not the only one! Today I've read your Q1 2015 road map and I decided to finally post this feature request here too (I contacted your support team about this a few weeks ago).

It's easy to dynamically create windows using the windowmanager, pass data between them, show dialogs, etc...
It would be very nice to be able to still have all this functionality, but with added adaptive behavior.

If the viewport width is too small to display the window or dialog in a correct way, the window/dialog would need to open maximized immediately without restricting height/width.

It would be nice to keep the title-bar and the close functionality on top, but I really don't need to move, minimize, maximize, pin,... the window on a smartphone, only be able to view its contents, interact with the content and close the window if needed. A bit like your lightbox does, but less focused on images/galleries and more flexible using the managers and the existing API these windows already have.

This would of course need to work for windows with url's (iframe), contenttemplates, and dialogs too.

I like the Bootstrap modal-window, for example. If your windows/dialogs could behave a bit more like that on mobile devices, but would keep the functionality of the window-manager, adding iframe-content, dialogs, I would be more than happy!

Thanks
Nick

The idea is to let a simple property have the RadWindow close on outside click like the RadLightBox: http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/lightbox/examples/overview/defaultcs.aspx.

At the moment, a few lines of code are needed and you can find examples here: http://www.telerik.com/forums/close-modal-on-overlay-click#DGbE7tSl3kWR926gm99m9A.

This feature would be useful when the bound markers are dynamically changing. With such functionality the end-user will be able to automatically examine all bound markers and would not need to pan or zoom.
