Currently, it is possible to align an image using the Justify Tools of RadEditor in IE, Chrome, Safari and Opera, but not in Firefox. In addition the content produced in the different browsers is different.

When dragging items from an outside source into a RadEditor, be it text, image, video, etc. The API used to perform drag & drop is lacking. For example, an overlay needs to be shown over the top of the iframe element for the editor, whereas I would like to perform the drop at a specified area where I drop - not where the cursor is located.

When we use the context menu on a table to insert a new row (above or below) if the table uses css class layout, the new line is the same one in which we click with the right mouse button to open the context menu.

So my suggest is re-apply the css class layout automatically after inserting a new row or column.

I believe in using OnClientCommandExecuted event, and his call for the same function as applied css class layout for the first time.

In the Annex there is a sequence of screen shots illustrating the situation

The following error is thrown when RadEditor is set in Inline mode with Material skin:
TypeError: view.modesRowContainer(...) is undefined

Workaround:

Sys.Application.add_load(function () {
                var EditorLightweightView = Telerik.Web.UI.Editor.LightweightView;
                EditorLightweightView.prototype.modesRowContainerOriginal = EditorLightweightView.prototype.modesRowContainer;
                EditorLightweightView.prototype.modesRowContainer = function () {
                    return this.modesRowContainerOriginal() || {};
                }
            });

Right now if copy multiple table rows and paste them into an existing table they create a new table in that table. We would like the ability to copy rows from a table and paste them into the same table or a new table with the same number of columns and have the new rows pasted without the creation of a nested table.

Hi,

Several of my clients has requested along the years for a way to insert Descriptions just beneth/under a image in the Editor, i have had to move to CKEditor in some cases and thought i would just give it a try and post this as a feature request.

A demo of this can be seen here,
http://ckeditor.com/

Think what they do is insert a Div under the image object that contains a Description.

Really hoping to see this in the future as i would like to keep third party plugins to a minimum.

When a RadEditor's toolbar mode is set to RibbonBar, its left and right border disappear.

Possible solutions are to set custom CSS styles that fixes the resizing issue under IE11:

Approach 1:
.RadRibbonBar.RadRibbonBar_<SkinName> {
 margin:1px;
}

Approach 2:
.reToolbarWrapper {
 padding-left:1px;
 padding-right:1px;
}

This problem causes the handles of the widget to be rendered at an incorrect position. The resizable widget should dispose or repaint itself, when the image is being dragged around the content.

Possible workaround is to reselect the element on the dragend event of the editor's content. You can follow this example setup:

 <telerik:RadEditor runat="server" ID="RadEditor1" OnClientLoad="OnClientLoad">
</telerik:RadEditor>

<script type="text/javascript">
	function OnClientLoad(editor, args) {
		editor.attachEventHandler("ondragend", function (e) {
			var selElm = editor.getSelectedElement();
			if (selElm && selElm.tagName && selElm.tagName === "IMG") {
				editor.selectElement(selElm);
			}
		});
	}
</script>

The scenario is related to RadEditor working with content providers. When inserting an image in chrome through Image Manager, the default width and height are applied to the HTML. The behavior is observed only in Chrome browser.

FIX: The toolbar commands don't fire when the editor is in iframe and has hidden parent in IE11. The content area is disabled too.

This would be needed in cases when the developers desire to create a logic which accepts all changes on Client-side without alerting any messages to the user.

For the time being you can use the following example have more control over the Track Changes feature on the client:

 <telerik:RadEditor ID="RadEditor1" runat="server" EnableTrackChanges="true">
     <Content>
         <p>Some text</p>
     </Content>
     <TrackChangesSettings CanAcceptTrackChanges="true" />
 </telerik:RadEditor>

 <telerik:RadButton runat="server" ID="RadButton1" AutoPostBack="false"
     OnClientClicked="OnClientClicked" Text="Accept Changes!"/>

 <script type="text/javascript">
     function OnClientClicked(sender) {
         var editor = $find("<%= RadEditor1.ClientID  %>");
         var trackChanges = Telerik.Web.UI.Editor.TrackChanges;

         trackChanges.setEditor(editor);

         /* use acceptAllChanges() method to prompt the user
         whether to accept or not accept the changes */

         //trackChanges.acceptAllChanges();

         /* use acceptAllChangesSilently() method to directly
         accept changes without notifying the user */

         trackChanges.acceptAllChangesSilently();
     }
 </script>

When a user is trying to insert new text inside other's user not accepted change the cursor is automatically jumping in the end of the unaccepted change. Different expected behavior can be the change to break the current change.

If change the font in the middle of a line and start typing the new font is applied .

However when translated to a new line, the font reverts back.
