Such property will allow the developer to choose whether the warnings will be displayed as RadAlerts or standard browser alerts. In this way the built in WindowManager could be user for showing RadAlerts.

Currently RadNotification uses a single 3D set of icons for all skins. Metro styling, however, requires flat icons.

With the current implementation such visualization can be achieved by putting a custom icon using the ContentIcon and TiteleIcon properties.

Hi

I have been able to load a Rad Filter for a query source, but when RadFilter is then seen as a Query Editor all you get is Delete and Add.

What I want to check on is I can create anew group (context menu?) and then drag and drop existing query into that. It the picture attached you can see how huge a list might look.

Likewise I need to be able to edit the filter options list as the underlying technology that I am saving to (FireBird DB) can only cope with '<' '=' and '>'

Are either of these things doable now?

Thanks Doug.

Basically, improve the approach suggested in the following article to provide a more generic solution, applicable for multiple aggregate fields:

Certain controls just add bloat to a page. Like the RadListView is a GREAT control to use inplace of the asp Repeater, but I find I often don't use it (or limit it's use) because it brings down 99.9% useless client scripts. Most of the time, especially in Sitefinity its a server-side render-only control. Just used to show data...we don't need ANY client manipulation.

Currently the only way to define the time interval in which the Notifications show is to set the ShowInterval property which takes the interval in millisecond. But if we need a notification to run on a particular time of day like at 21:47:29, there is no way to set it. And i don't see a work around for it too, other than calculate 24 hours in milliseconds and assuming it to run at that particular time.

It would really help if we can have a notificationRunType = {Interval, Time} which could evoke either the ShowInterval or ShowTime property, so that when notificationRunType="Time" and ShowTime="21:47:29" would set the RadNotifications to run on that particular time.

By including an id attribute in the SVG rendering of the diagram shapes, it will be possible to reference them on the client.

Hi,

It seems there is no built in feature in RadFilter Control to populate the filters in Combobox, and seems like its using Context Menu now. The problem is, we are populating large number of filters (>50) and navigating through the context menu to look for particular filter is painful.

We are requesting a feature to have the filters populated in something like Typeahead Combobox. (Please see attached screenshot)

Hello,

If the RadGrid is set to RTL:
RadGrid1.MasterTableView.Dir = Telerik.Web.UI.GridTableTextDirection.RTL

When a user wants to resize a column, the LEFT border of the column should be resizable. When it is moved, the width of the column should expand or shirk, accordingly. However, in RadGrid the RIGHT border of the column is always resizable – also in right-to-left. This is very confusing and unnatural for RTL users.

See video that shows the current behavior:
 http://youtu.be/mGpYNs0x5gc

See another video that shows how it works nicely in Excel. I think it should work like this in RadGrid, too:
http://youtu.be/GMO7tWzt-mw

Would love to see this implemented.

Thank you,
Daniel.

Was poking around on the media player demos page in FF and I noticed that your transitions for the overlays are animating out with javascript?

Why are we doing this on a new control...I know you guys like maintaining consistency...but it makes the control feel so "dated" as the elements choppily disappear.

It would be great to be able to specify more layout properties via the data bound data. For example, if we could bind a property in the data to a series type we could generate different series on the fly.

This is important to me as I want to make the page as responsive as possible, so all charts load on demand - but as the data is generated in an asynchronous fashion, I'm not able to predetermine how many series I can create.

Currently, drag and drop is only supported with server-side binding.

The ImageEditor control should provide an out-of-the-box tool that functions as an Eraser, i.e. removes previously drawn geometric shapes. This tool should behaves similarly to a the way other image editing tools provide the option to remove pixels - more precisely applies the background color to the canvas.

Please consider adding file editing into the RadFileExplorer (could leverage CodeMirror). Would be a great help to sitefinity to be able to edit the css or less directly on the fly in the fileexplorer.

While it is currently possible to target the first or last item in a RadTabStrip via their CSS classes .rtsFirst and .rtsLast, it is not possible to target individual items, e.g. to add a custom icon or display different background images in tabs.

Assigning icons via the ImageURL property is often not feasible, e.g. when using the RadTabStrip-based navigation controls in Sitefinity.

Numbering the list items, e.g. .rtsLI1, .rtsLI2, .rtsLI3, etc., would be trivial to implement and provide a lot of flexibility through individual CSS targeting.

This also applies to the RadPanelBar and RadMenu controls.

Currently the mouse wheel scrolls a fixed amount of pixels. A property should allow the developer to control this speed. Leave your comments below on the way this property should be implemented (e.g. an enum or an integer from a given range).
