Instead of utilising 3rd party jQuery or the boring old ASP client-side form/field validation why don't you guys develop your own that has nice look and functionality similar to this:

https://github.com/posabsolute/jQuery-Validation-Engine

and you could also include a password strength indicator like this while your at it:

http://git.aaronlumsden.com/strength.js/#demo

Not hard and it would nicely complement your current suite of tools, especially if it was styled from skins.

Hi guys,

Do you think that the Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX suite should offer a Radial Menu? The control should optimize and facilitate the work on touch devices.

You can find more detail for the control at:

Thank you for your feedback!

Currently the RadStylesheetManager renders embedded styles below user defined styles. In terms user defined cascades are overridden and developers need to use stronger selectors.

Adding the ability to control where the embedded stylesheets are rendered will solve this and other issues.

Shapes currently support text inside the shape - how about text as a label above (or below) the shape. I want to have shapes in the form of small circles that have a text label above showing the user what the shape represents.

The new Flat skin for KendoUI is excellent and it would be great to have the same skin available for ASP.NET AJAX applications. I can see it being especially useful when faced with migrating older apps that use the AJAX controls over to Kendo.

User friendly Grid filtering...
I developed a custom feature where I display the filter expression used in a grid. This is very helpful so that users do not have to guess or remember what exactly they filtered on. And it provides a single click to clear all the filters at once. Before, all they saw was that certain columns are being filtered by, but they don't see what the filters actually are (EqualTo, Not EqualTo, StartsWith,,,etc) and they had to clear one filter at a time to get rid of all filtering.
There is not much to it but it's subject to break if Telerik makes changes to the their filtering mechanism (which did happen). It would be nice if this feature can be standard so it will be part of Q.A after any changes to the Grid.
Attached is a working sample page to see this in action. See comments in code.

Need the ability to Sort Grouped Items (ex. Salesperson) by the value of another Grouped Item (Sum of Sales).

Currently, there is NO WAY to sort a list of Salespeople by Total Sales. You can only perform an alpha sort on Salesperson's Name.

So, if you have a list of 100 Salespeople and their total product sales across dimensions like (product, geographic) you will have to MANUALLY look through and note who are your top Salespeople !!!!!!!!!!!

How can this be acceptable ??

An alpha sort on Salesperson is the best you guys can do??

Centering is really a mandatory capability. Must be able to automatically center an element - such as a dialogue box of either a fixed size or one that automatically expands to it's contents.

Either in the whole page or within a row / column.

Based on customer feedback, we should implement styles in the ribbon, say a class name, that when applied will truncate the titles of ribbon groups.

Though by specification a group title should be short, that's not always possible. Having those styles will allow customers to have the groups being sized according to their content and not the greater of maximum of the content or group title

Based on customer feedback: We just observed the problem that the width where the ribbon completely collapses does not match the width where the ribbon stops being completely collapsed.

Based on customer feedback: fully collapsed groups in the ribbon bar have a smaller height, which leads to a broken layout, when only part of the ribbon groups are fully collapsed.

Currently tooltips expose properties for changing the background color, format and visibility. Add more appearance options like color (Color property is already exposed), font, border width, border color and padding. For the time being the following workaround can be used:
	<style type="text/css">
		.k-tooltip
		{
			/*Sets border width and color*/
			border-width: 5px !important;
			border-color: Green !important;
			/*Sets padding*/
			padding-left: 5px !important;
			padding-right: 5px !important;
			/*Sets FontSize, FontFamily and color*/
			font: 15px Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif !important;
			color: Red !important;
		}
	</style>

As a user I would like to see on each grid the aggregate function totals for the actively displayed grid and on the last page the aggregate function totals for the active displayed grid and the data set aggregate function totals so that each page displays only its page level total and on the last page displays the full total of all data displayed.

See attached examples:
Example: Page level Total on every page and on the last page Page level Total plus Grid whole Total on the last page.
1 2 3 4 5 6
