RadToolTipManager cannot find custom embedded skin, when a custom skin DLL is created with the Skins assembly builder (http://skinsassemblybuilder.telerik.com/).

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a custom skin and wownload ZIP from Visual Style Builder (http://skinsassemblybuilder.telerik.com/)
2. Upload ZIP to Skins Assembly builder (http://skinsassemblybuilder.telerik.com/)
3. Create new project with Telerik template, turn off all options (like additional skins).
4. Add downloaded DLL as project reference.
5. Add to web.config:  <add key="Telerik.Skin" value="My_Skin" />
        <add key="Telerik.EnableEmbeddedSkins" value="true" />
        <add key="Telerik.EnableEmbeddedBaseStylesheet" value="true" />
        <add key="Telerik.Web.SkinsAssembly" value="My_Skin"/>
6. In Default.aspx, add
      <telerik:RadToolTipManager runat="server"></telerik:RadToolTipManager>

Result: an Internal Server Error is thrown:
Telerik.Web.UI.RadToolTipManager with ID='ctl03' was unable to find an embedded skin with the name 'My_Skin'. Please, make sure that the skin name is spelled correctly and that you have added a reference to the Telerik.Web.UI.Skins.dll assembly in your project. If you want to use a custom skin, set EnableEmbeddedSkins=false.

Hi! could you consider implemnet a custom radio button that for the selected shows and image instead of the default circle for the radio button and that include a access key to select the option. That can bind a datasource an configure columns for show the radio options in the image for example can bind a databound for the answers and configure that shows by 2 columns and the image for the radio selected and maybe you can configure if the image is in the left, right, top or bottom

It would be nice to have a CardView type panel control. This could simply be a dezoned raddock control that is optionally missing the header. I am using some custom CSS for this now so that when the mouse moves over the div the shadow deepens to indicate selection.

It would be nice to adjust the elevation as well.

You can kind of get this now but taking a radwindow or a raddock but a dedicated control would be nice.

IE browser handles backspaces at some extent, but causes undesired HTML formatting when the entire UL|OL is wrapped in another DOM element.

RadEditor can reuse the DeleteCommand implementation in order to bypass browser's behavior and give more reliable results.

The following override can show you how you can handle this on your own and correct the browser result (Note that the script should be loaded after the RadEditor scripts in order to work):

<telerik:RadEditor runat="server" ID="RadEditor1">
    <Content>
            <div>
                <ul>
                    <li>Purple</li>
                    <li></li>
                </ul>
            </div>
    </Content>
</telerik:RadEditor>

<script>
    var originalApplyFix = Telerik.Web.UI.Editor.DeleteFix.prototype.applyFix;

    Telerik.Web.UI.Editor.DeleteFix.prototype.applyFix = function (e) {
        var that = this;
        var $E = Telerik.Web.UI.Editor;
        var utils = $E.Utils;
        var range = that._getRange();

        originalApplyFix.call(that, e);

        if (Telerik.Web.Browser.ie) {
            var startContainer = range.startContainer;
            if (utils.isTag(startContainer, "li") && utils.isEmptyDom(startContainer) && !startContainer.nextElementSibling) {
                var outdent = new $E.OutdentCommand(that.editor);
                outdent.onExecute();
                $telerik.preventDefault(e);
            }
        }

    };
</script>

Please add an ability to move text in different styles, something like HTML MARQUEE.

For example:

When you enable the control's keyboard navigation, using the arrow keys for navigation does not work when you use NVDA screen reader.

Recently when I was testing my ASP.Net application on different browsers, I found that in some of the browsers the controls did not work as expected. These browsers were not in the list of compatible browsers mentioned at following URL: http://www.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/tech-sheets/browser-support

I then tried to come up with a method in JavaScript that would check if the current browser matched any one of the compatible browser name and browser version mentioned in above URL. Then I could simply call this JavaScript method in the page load event of master page and alert the user that the browser he or she is using is not compatible with the website.

It would be nice if such a method was there as part of RadControls library for ASP.Net AJAX. Such a method could be defined on client-side as well on the server-side. It would make life easier for a developer using RadControls, since users of the web site could be easily warned if they were using a browser that RadControls did not support. Right now end users would just see the application behaving strangely when RadControls are rendered on an unsupported browser.

Hi Telerik,

I've seen your new Theme Builder at http://themebuilder.telerik.com
This is wonderful tool for all developer and I love it.
So I have a feedback, can you create a Forum for everybody where we can share our Theme Builder in ASP.NET Ajax forum like Visual Style Builder forum's already exists.
And a library where the best Theme Builder was pulic by others developer.

I think this is good wat for the development of community Telerik

Thanks

In the meantime, use the following workaround:

<script type="text/javascript">
                var designMode = Telerik.Web.UI.EditModes.Design;
                var editorPrototype = Telerik.Web.UI.RadEditor.prototype;
                var keypress = editorPrototype._keyPressHandler;
                editorPrototype._keyPressHandler = function (ev) {
                    if (this.get_mode() == designMode) {
                        keypress.call(this, ev);
                    }
                }
                var keyDownOverride = editorPrototype._keyDownHandlerEnableTrackChangesOverride;
                editorPrototype._keyDownHandlerEnableTrackChangesOverride = function (ev) {
                    if (this.get_mode() == designMode) {
                        keyDownOverride.call(this, ev);
                    }
                }
                var keydown = editorPrototype._keyDownHandler;
                editorPrototype._keyDownHandler = function (ev) {
                    if (this.get_mode() == designMode) {
                        keydown.call(this, ev);
                    }
                }
            </script>

For the time being you can safely use the same scenario with ContentAreaMode set to Div.

There are several other suggestions along these lines, but in general, Telerik needs to make their data input controls more consistent in the implementation of a "Label" property. Without such consistencies, it makes including controls that have this property and those that don't together on the same page much more difficult. As of the writing of this, the DropDownList and DatePicker controls do not have a Label property. There is no apparent reason why this should be so.

All of the input controls should have this property.
