Our O365 users see 'Excel on the screen' so it should behave the same, its Excel in a the browser - which means the Ajax controls are competing with this.
Which means our code is crap because there is a difference in investment between us and Microsoft, we are also burdened with the feature that uses are lazy and dont want to think for themselves, the computer is meant to do thier job for them (so why employ them).
We also use MS Teams here that allows Excel documents to be used in the Browser, Teams joins sharepoint and skype.
It would be nice to you to look how your controls might integrate with Office 365 tooling, there is enormous traction in the market with MS Teams and O365 so I imagine the AJAX document sources would need O365/azure examples soon.
It matters that you have a skin that allows users to perceive that this app is just like O365, and the same assumptions can be made about the UX, this lifts a lot of the burden for the developers in training, when the affordance of O365 App and Telerik Apps are the same.
I would appreciate a set of demo examples that connect in to Azure/O365 and equally Dynamics365 (BizTalk) because of the traction in the O365 space, the amount of process automation in businesses across the UK and Europe. So many of the Telerik controls looks like desktop controls, many are better it would be useful to show just how easy it is connect into O365, maybe create a Graph Query connector or a sample O365 connector that covers the CRUD operations for office docs.
Thanks in advance
The current colors, #0082CC and #FFFFFF that are used for forecolor and backcolor, have 4.14:1 color contrast ratio: https://webaim.org/resources/contrastchecker/?fcolor=FFFFFF&bcolor=0082CC
The minimum required color contrast ratio is 4.5:1 for AA Compliance, and 7:1 for AAA Compliance.
A possible alternative color for the #0082CC blue can be #007CC.
Trying to use a web testing tool (Selenium) and using xpath is not always working. I was wondering if it would be possible to always add an ID property to controls, especially in drop downs etc. so that it can clicked properly.
Request to addorder tracker component similar to the attached screen shot.
During penetration tests we have to let carry out we allways run into problems with version disclosures originating from the embedded scripts and the Telerik.Web.UI. To keep updates of the telerik components easy and to stay out of version incompatibilities we would like to keep using the embedded scripts. Atm this is even more unlucky because the still, or again, used JQuery version 1.12.4 is known to be vulnerable to Cross-site Scripting (XSS) attacks. Our request would now be to at least remove the version comments from the embedded script files and the exact version of the Telerik.Web.UI in the links created to the Webresource.axd.
What is EOL for this version. UI for ASP.NET AJAX R1 2017 SP1 (version 2017.1.228)
Such an exposed method, which returns the value from the ExportOutput, would be useful to further enhance the exporting capabilities of the RadGrid control. A very practical example would be to export numerous RadGrid controls into one Excel file.
If misspelled word is coming after scroll bar it is not focusing in IE11, Edge and Chrome. Can be reproduced in the default demo - https://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/editor/examples/overview/defaultcs.aspx Paste the following content <p>a</p> <p>a</p> <p>a</p> <p>a</p> <p>a</p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p>risksss</p> and click on the spell check button. The popup with the suggestions will be positioned outside of the content area. As a workaround you can switch to DIV content area mode - https://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/editor/examples/contentareamodediv/defaultcs.aspx
Due to browser restrictions, the print behavior is changed and works identically to the one of IE - a new tab/dialog with the grid is opened whose print command is launched. You can observe the behavior in IE at https://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/grid/examples/functionality/printing/defaultcs.aspx.
Hi I have a straightforward feature request: I would like to be able to "get" the row/column "filter" values the user has selected server-side. Basically need a public property or some type of getter. Currently on the PivotGrid, the row/column "Filter" "Includes/Excludes" can be "set" programmatically, but user selected values can't be easily gotten. I would use it in a couple ways: 1) to display context to the user for the numbers in the grid. (e.g., show the user the active filter values responsible for the numbers they are seeing in the PivotGrid Detail). 2) I need the filter values to close Ticket 1168787. A Telerik employee make a nice sample project to do drill-through functionality: https://www.telerik.com/blogs/how-to-implement-drill-down-functionality-in-telerik-s-pivotgrid-for-asp.net-ajax-part-2 But the PivotGrid counts and RadGrid detail data records returned are not in agreement because selected PivotGrid filters aren't applied to the detail returned in the RadGrid. I need to do that. I need to be able to mimic a drill through action into the detail records that make up the data counts. If I click a cell that says "100" (orders, 2018 year included) I need 100 orders returned in the detail. Not 7000 orders (all order years, unfiltered). In that ticket, I'm trying to mimic the functionality similar to an SSAS "drillthrough action" (like many cube browsers have built in, e.g., RANET OLAP), except here with a regular SQL data source. This way I can drill into the detail records that make up the numbers displayed to the user in the PivotGrid. However, as it stands, the counts and detail will not be congruent until I can get the filter values selected by the user and apply them accordingly to the data set for the detail RadGrid. The BI users expect to be able to drill into the data and I need to provide it. Thank you, Tom
It would be great to be able to use the MultiSelect control that is available in all the other UI controls suites. This controls allows a selection behavior and rendering customization that none of the current controls in UI for ASP.NET AJAX offers.
I would like the ability to generate a graphic (.jpg, .bmp) of page 1 of a pdf document so it can be placed in a grid cell.
